Police probe alleged abduction attempt

Police are investigating an alleged abduction attempt of a 9-year-old boy. An older white male driving a tan pick up truck allegedly tried to pull the boy into the truck on Pawtuckett Boulevard about a month ago.

I agree completely..what lies beneth a 9 yr. old not saying anything for a month until the child sees the same truck...very questionable

That's very strange.Get this.My x sometime ago tried to place a complaint with the Freetown police about a male being in front of her house and he was driving a truck.Of course at that time my x had an restraining order against me.I knew that since she would have this that i needed to move so she could not claim i'm harrassing her.And I did to Florida.Though I have not seen my childrenKatelyn(12)& Brendan(9)I miss them very much.My story in Standardtimes.com (Comments Section)Mother-Holly Melanson Medeiros and her husband Freetown Firefighter Stephen M. Who knows what this is, people are so damned paranoid. I was walking my neighborhood the other day and saw a man watering his lawn as his daughter rode a trike on the sidewalk in front of the house. Anyways she stops in the middle of it and stares at me while I'm walking, no biggie, I look at the father and smile and as I approach and pass the little girl I smile and give her a little wave and keep going. Then I hear him sternly tell her to get over to him, not more than 15ft away... like I'm some transient level 3 kiddie raper. Anyways he stares at me, I roll my eyes and just keep going... Granted I think a guy trying to talk to this kid from his truck may be something different entirely, but I've also seen parents rush a car near their kids, screaming, only to find out the guy in the vehicle's the parent of the kids friend with them in the other seat. Anywho just my own 2cp.
