120 Main Street is owned by David Veo. Now I hope we all remember Mr. Veo. He is the man who was involved with the first group that wanted to develop the mill property. How exciting the mill would be gone. Not so fast, the only problem was he was not going to do it to Joe's satisfaction. We all know that there is Joe's way or the highway. So a pis@#ng match ensued and in the end the mill was still standing. Mr. Veo then turned around and bought 120 Main Street (a key lot of land for Joe's mill project). What a nice "HI JOE" I'm still here. So I wonder if the BOH is jumping on the Joe band wagon and starting another fight with Veo. Maybe he will buy some land next to the town hall... Even better go buy some land up by Ashley Street and get in on that 40B project that Joe is so fond of :)

Do you even give a thought to the tenant in that property who is on the receiving end of Mr. Veo's outstanding property management (right in line with his robber baron reputation), or are they less than worthy of your attention? Is this all politics with you, and to heck with actual people?

Do we even know what the violations are? I have friends who own apartments and some of the violations are very minor repairs. I wish this news paper would do a better job with their articles.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
