ok so as funny as I think buying a rock for your wife on mothers day is
(probably would have been better as an anniversary gift BTW) The whole point of the story is that people no longer respect other peoples property. Our youth today is not raised to respect anyone else but themselves.

People always seem to be on here saying things like why is this news and so on and so forth. well first the sun is a local paper its called local news you want a real headline buy the globe. 20 years ago everyone in a 15 mile radius would have known about this from word of mouth and from being in the news paper. so seriously get a grip.

And it is news!!!! if you lived in that area and you haven't had any problems and suddenly homes around your are getting vandalized or broken into aren't you going to want to know? as a home owner I want to know if there has been a sudden change in the norm of vandalizing or any other criminal activity so that I can better arm myself and my home.
