I'll take either the retired Lt. Col turned hayfarmer or the Former Army Delta Force officer any day over Kerry. The guy is sooooo out of it and has no clue what it means for the little people living paycheck to paycheck.

Running as a Republican , Mr.Ogonowski couldn't have picked a worse time to run. He's going to suffer the fallout of eight years of Bush/Cheney.If I lived in the state I would vote for him. However,my vote wouldn't be enough to save him from the wrath of the voters.

Agreed - but shouldn't a democratic Congress take SOME of the blame here? Checks and balances...and hacks.

Congess' approval is 14 pts. lower than Bush's. I like the title of the article, but I have one question. What record? Kerry's done nothing for the last 9 years(as far as sponsoring a new bill goes). I may not agree w/Kennedy, but at least he does something. Kerry's totally worthless. I'm surprised the Dem. party dosen't put someone up against him to defeat him before the winner meets the Republican challenger. Kerry's an embarrasment to this state and the whole country. He's an elitist who just keeps putting his foot in his mouth every time he speaks.

Replacing Kerry with someone who was in the CIA would be a real upgrade. CIA has done nothing for this country. I'm not a real fan of Kerry but, I sure as hell don't want to replace him with a George Bush republican (i.e. neo-con). Ogonowski is riding his brothers name and it ain't going to work. He lost in the congressional race to Nikki Tsongas...also running on a family members name. The GOP won't start gaining seats until they reject the Bush regimes doctrines of pre-emptive war, nuclear first strike, police state tactic, etc...

...also, do people really think there is a dimes worth of difference between the republicans and democrats?
They both support war with Iraq and they both continue to fund it. And now they are both rattling sabres to go to war with Iraq. I say kick the whole lot out and replace em with real Americans.

I agree that whole lot of pols should be voted out from both parties However, Jim Ogonowski is a hard working real American. Should he distance himself from Bush, Iraq and admit mistakes were made? YES!!! I think right now we need to concentrate our efforts to deal with the oil/gas prices. At the rate they're going, the whole country's working American families will go bankrupt.

With all due respect to Ogonowski's brother, and to the candidate himself, he will never beat John Kerry. Not by a longshot. Kerry is good for the Senate, and good for the State of Massachusetts.

Both parties are destroying the economic stability of America. That's why I'm looking at 3rd party candidates.

I didn't know kerry even had a record. All you ever hear from him is complaints about what is going on at any given time. I was under the impression he was elected to help us out of these messes. So far all I have heard is his whining, with absolutely no action to help anyone. Why is this numbskull still in there. I sure as heck never voted for him.

Kerry's record has been 'hit' before. Didn't work. Mr. Ogonowski needs to tell us about him, not Kerry.

Mr.Ogonowski, says our Federal Govt.is broken, DAH!!!!!! Who broke it? This Republican President with his republican congress. All Federal Republicans are being voted out of office! From the Carolina's to Mississippi. All special elections show Republicans losing republican seats!!!!! Jim knows that he lost a open seat in our district to a Democrat. What part of NO doesn't Jim understand????? However in our great land anyone with time on their hands can run for any office as often as they wish.

Like I said in an earlier post,Jim can't even mention the word Republican if he wants to get elected in November. I don't think the attack or fear campaign will get him elected . Republicans are already losing secure seats in the south that the've held for years. Bush has done for the Republicans what Carter did for the Democrats.Time for a strong third party, this two party system is broken.
