Lamesa baby choked to death

I am concerned about a baby that was brought to Lubbock on Wednesday and was pronounced brain dead. The baby girl was only 5 months old. The baby had hand marks around her neck. I am another parent currently in ICU with my son and want to know if anyone knows if this person that did this has at least been arrested or being investigated.

I think this happend Saturday night right? I think the monther of this baby is about 14 or 15 yrs old. Did anybody else see these hand prints on the baby? I hope you let someone know about that. As far as I know, no one has been arrested. But I'm sure there will be an investigation. I wonder who the father of this baby is, and what he thinks about it. All I know is if anybody noticed those hand marks on the baby, SOMEBODY IS IN BIG TROUBLE! Please keep us informed "CONCERNED MOTHER"!

Sorry this did happen Wednesday, I just found out that yes there were hand prints on the baby's neck and brusies on the baby's chest. They also said something about the back of the baby's neck, something about where the neck and back connect I guess there was somthing wrong there. The mother (MANDI) is a prime suspect, and her boyfriend is too. The biological father is Rene Delgado, and he is in prison right now...

Thank you, this is a little bit of relief to my heart. Some one is definitely responsible for her death. She was a beautiful baby girl that was taken too early. The family did allow organ donation, so now possibly up to 13 other lives can be saved because of her. I just can't get this baby off my mind. I will be following up to see if there is anymore updates.

I think all of you are quite silly....N E ways I have contacted news channel 11 because I want to know the truth. No baby should ever die in vain. My son was next door to her as she was lying there helpless, only alive because of the terrific staff and Covenant and machines. I am a compassionate caring person and am not interested in prying in others lives, however I need to know the truth that is all. Thank you, my son is better, and we went home yesterday. I had plenty of time to blog while we were there.
