Democrats, Obama Reach Accord on Gitmo Detainees

By Perry Bacon Jr. Congressional Democrats and the Obama administration reached an agreement yesterday that would allow the White House to bring detainees now held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to the United States for trial, but not allow them to be jailed here permanently.

Sweet, now these fools will be afforded more rights than our own military personal have under the military code of justice. I keep hoping one day this idiot we have for a president will decide to do something that makes some sort of sense, but it does not look likely. Hell, he voted for a bill not to allow these detainees in the US when he was in the senate. Just more change we can believe in.
