UN - Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia speaks out on name issue at UN debate

The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia reiterated today that it will continue to work within the United Nations-backed process for resolving its long-running dispute with Greece over its official name, but called on its neighbour to stop taking actions 'to unfavourably influence the outcome' of the row.

How can they be working with the process when they have changed the UN recognised name.?
Its like Greece adressing them as the Scopjan Republic of Vardar, they would be outraged as we are outraged by them using Macedonia.

The UN should insist the Scop changes his constitional name to fall in line with the UN registered name before any negotiations continue.

Nice it has reiterated it for the 14th year in a row. Now what else have they done other than reiterating it? They call themselves not FYROM but Republic of Macedonia in their official documents submitted to the UN. So their reiteration of wishing to resolve the issue of their official name is that they should use Republic of Macedonia as the official name. That is the ONLY name they know they CANNOT use as their official name and HAVE AGREED by signing the Interim Agreement not to use!
