I conquer with you guys as far as him needing to pay for his decisions, however he is someone's child and if for no other reason at least think of his mom and her feelings and how about your feelings if it was your son or daughter would the words come out so loosely.

I understand how easy it is to judge someone after they have committed such a crime, but you begin to think twice about making these judgements when you knew the person. Some people have it easier than others growing up,and the troubled children are the ones most likely to end up committing careless acts. He never led an easy life, though I am not justifying the thoughtless decision he made. It has deeply saddened me. However like "A Mother" mentioned, he has a family that loves him because he is not a BAD PERSON, simply someone who fell into the wrong situation. They must be undergoing a tremendous amount of stress.
