First of all, the "mother" jokes are ancient. Let go of them. Second, since you live in Ft. Washington, you must be a hood rat. So please leave these forums to the smarter human beings.

I can't believe that he just got 4 days community service. Why don't the police listen to the witnesses that said he was racing with another car with his lights off. If his lights were on he would have seen the people. So this guy got it easy. For the folks that know who the racers were; you need to come forward; they aren't going to find out who gave out their names. Obviously, you did not have a loved one killed at the scene. What kind of citizens are you if you can't help the police out. I know if I would have been there; I would gladly give the names out; so they will not ever do it again. They need their cars taken away like they did in Prince William County when two young guys were racing. This needs to be looked in futher as far as the drive in the white Crown Vic; you know he is going to say he wasn't driving with is light off; he wants to cover his butt. I guess in the end he will remember how he killed 8 people.
This trial was simply on the driving with a suspended lic (which was not suspended at the time of the accident)...this has nothing to do with the accident..which is what it was an accident. He received 4 days community service for the lic's violation. His day in court has not come for hitting these crazy folks that were standing in the middle of the street on a dark night..in a cloud of tire smoke.

People keep blaming this young man for hitting these people however had they not been in the street they would not have been hit. According to the article his dr lic was reinstated so if that is true he didn't commit a crime by driving down 210 at this time. The crime was being cmmitted by those that got hit.

The driver did nothing wrong. Those who were standing in the middle of the road to watch an illegal drag race definitely should not have been there. If you're robbing a bank and killed in the process, should the person who shot him be prosecuted? No. Same goes here, if you're out doing something wrong, why should someone else be punished for it. Furthermore, these same people who want the driver prosecuted can't have their cake and eat it too. They want justice but don't want to give up the names of the drivers of the drag racers. Come on people get real!!

I concur. If it was not this guy that runs those people, its someone else a few minutes behind him WITH a valid license that does the damage.
like the tractor trailer that supposedly came up behind him
