How is this possible, especially for those that are on a waiting list a few months out waiting to have their houses raised.
I hope there is some consideration for this.

Lets get real here, anyone who is still living in a fema trailer is super lazy. How many years does it take to raise a house? What did they do to their road home money? I mean if they are in such bad shape, they should have gotten it. Older folks and handicapped persons have even had opportunity with church groups and such to fix their homes.... this is bs, all trailers should be outlawed by now! Get your lazy butts out of the trailers! where do you go? You should have had that figured out by now. How did you live before the storm? Evidently the street is where you belong.

You know maybe I did come off a little rough, but the truth is the truth. Some people will live in those dmn trailers forever if you allow it. The line has to be drawn somewhere. Just some people like concerned should concern themself with wanting to get rid of the trailers, furthermore the idiot is not from St Tammany to start with. It doesn't surprise me at all to get a post from a lazy person from NO looking for a free ride. The same fool looking to stay in the trailer is the same fool that will sue them for formaldehide or anything else.....the buck needs to stop here!

"I know this is a very emotional issue," Davis said. "And it has never been our intent for anybody to be homeless.... We are not going to put anybody out on the street corner." (Well said Kevin, but it is past time!) "The reason for us being here today is to say you've got to have a plan" for moving out of FEMA trailers, Morris said. "If you have a reasonable plan, we'll work with you." (A little late huh Ben?)

mesedover is right, this storm didn't happen yesterday. You have to throw them out or they won't go. nobody wants to put persons in the street, but that is were they would be otherwise

No, I don't want people thrown in the street, but something has to be done.

While I have a hard time wishing anything bad on anyone, I hope your house burns down. I was in St. Bernards ,Waveland, and all points along the coast after the storm , including Mandeville and you folks on the North Shore were spared the worst of it. I hope Karma is swift and complete you heartless POS. Next storm, please place a sign in your front yard. I'll skip your house when I'm turning the lights back on.

How long does it take to build a home? My home had seven trees and 5ft of water in it, much worse than many homes that are not yet finished. It only took me about 2 months to get it back together. If you or anyone, that is still living in a fema trailer, have a problem other than hurricane katrina. It's called LAZY! I'll turn my own lights on thank you....I wonder which way the karma will go..........AH

Why someone from Alva,Ok has to post about St. Tammany and Slidell beats me. What a jackass. Completely off topic too. Must be one of the out of state lineman that did shotty work that I had to redo. Your hatred is unprecedented. Let me put it straight and back on topic where you can understand. My house can burn down, I will put it back up and you will still have people living in fema trailers if you continue to allow it!
