Where are all my former classmates

I graduated from Bog. in 1975. I moved away 20 years ago and never looked back. I occaisonally come back every couple of years or so. It is hard to see the obits. and see my former buddies and others dropping like flies ,mainly due to drugs and alcohol I am sure. Why have so many people moved. I may move back one day, I am just not sure. After living in a great southern state for the post 20 years that is booming and prosperous, it is a shame to see that drugs are still killing the magic city.I gave em up ,but I don't think some have. What do you think? If you moved will you ever come back?

I was born in bogalusa and lived there until the age of 16. moved with my family up north. it will always be home to me because that is where I was born and mainly raised and some of my family live there. but I would never go back....after living somewhere else that is prospering and growing, you cannot go back to a town that does not want to do any better...it has went down so badly over the years..so much drugs and crime.....love to visit but always ready to go home....

I moved away and stayed gone for 17 years and came back and regret it more and more every day. If you are happy where you are I would not consider coming back to Bogalusa. Sad but true!

I too came back-but left again. I love the magic city-but they call it the crime city now or the crack & meth city.
