As you all know I don't have a lot of nice things to say but I'm really feel the AES treats their students according to their parents position in the community. My son was treated differently because we are middle-class and not a Lawyer BusineesOwner, and or a Doctor It seem everytime I asked questions about certain subjects it was the same reheased line. I ask the questions when it comes down to my kids. They let you know a week after anything happens. How the heck am I suppose to address an Issue a week later.Does that make since?

I went to Abingdon Elementary many years ago and that is why I choose Meadowview & Patrick Henry for my son.
I do not agree

I moved here from out of state and enrolled my child in AES three years ago. I am definitely not one of those people with money nor do I hold any important position in the community, and have found AES to be great. My child I are treated better than we have ever been by all staff members of AES. Now, the staff at EB is a different topic entirely. They need to do away with a lot of them if you ask me. My child was enrolled at other schools, and those other schools did not seem to care about my son's education nor my son like AES has. I do not agree with any of the above statements made. Ms. Counts has also been extremely helpful when we have needed her. She has never been too busy for us. I have always found her nice and happy to help us out when asked. I think it all depends on how you treat them, and your disposition toward them as well. Maybe you should try treating the staff with some gratitude and respect and you will get it back in return. Money is not what they look at at that school. I am an example of that. Neither is holding some type of position in the community because once again, I am another example of that...

my daughter goes to Aes and I am very happy with the way that we have been treated. Anytime that I have a question or a problem they have happily helped. Mrs. Counts can be a little strict but i am glad that she is. I believe a school needs structre and rules and they should enforce them. I would recommend this school to anybody and I went to Meadowview and Patrick Henry.

Abingdon Elem. Is a great school. E.B Stanley needs some improvements, but is still a decent school.
Greendale on the other hand is horrible and has inadequate supervision children are allowed to harrass and threaten each other, very few decent teachers there, and poor old Mrs. Whitlock that woman is so stupid she can't use a phone correctly! Good thing it didn't take me long to figure it out before I got my children out of that mess at GES. I wouldn't even recommend someone taking their dog to GES! BTW GES is great if you like being a parent who shoves your nose 10 inches up the tail end of a teacher, and lord forbid you have a child who has learning problems I know of one teacher breaking a childs glasses and scratching the childs face because the child wasn't understanding what she was told keep in mind this child can't comunicate well with others, my daughter come home telling me about this I contacted the little girls mother we both went to GES and was blown off.

I am concerned to hear these negative comments about Greendale. I have a child that goes to GES. It is our first year, she is in kindergarten. I don't know much about the school, as I am new to the area. My daughter has Mrs. Halsey for a teacher. Is there anything that I should be on the lookout for? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

come on! do you think people is gonna believe this bunch of crap that you just said? Im sure that a teacher scratched a childs face just because he wasn't listening. and then broke his glasses, sounds to me like you need to go back to school and learn not to tell big lies like this one!!!

I love AES they have the best school lunch and the 2nd grade program was worthy of a Tony. All the lunch ladies have had their moles removes and the bullies are all sissies, so I am glad I have spent the last 3 years at AES as a 5th grader.
