During that weekend, my blood pressure went up to 230/100. I was kept in my cell and not taken to infirmary. As a sick joke, the guards turned the hear up. I felt like I was dying and in all reality I probably was.

Anna: That high blood pressure might have come from all the "high test" IN your blood. Furnace heat won't usually have that effect on humans.

what ever wrote: I can assure you they didnt turn the heat up it set on a computer Your exactly right. They do as they please because as soon as you go through those slider doors into booking you are a piece of shit to them and they are above you. If everyone would speak up and stand together they would prob shut the place down. Or sweep it under the rug like they do alot of things there.

For your information, each inmate is tested for alcohol when they come in for there weekend stay. My bp was up because of certain guards threatening me along with other people. They all work togather to enable themselves to have there fun with the prisoners.

Those guards are above you. It is their job and they aren't the ones breaking the law and having the butts thrown in jail. Put things in perspective before you start to fuss.

If I didn't know what I was talking about I would just keep my mouth shut. I know alot about how that place is run. I worked there and I know how the inmates are treated. So I guess YOU could say that I WAS THERE AND NO NOT A CRIMINAL! SO who="what" I have things in perspective!! DO YOU??? Just because tou spend a weekend or a few months there does that make them a piece of shit? NO! There are alot of people who are out there who have never been caught.

If there is inmate mistreatment going on that would be a shame, but jail is not supposed to be a picnic. Jail should suck to make people not want to go back or be in there in the first place.

I did weekends there and NEVER was I alcohol tested when i went in. Not that it would have been an issue for me but as we would sit waiting to be processed MANY fellow weekenders were completely nodding out to the tune of falling from their seat,,, so I know for a fact that one is not screened for substance upon entering,,, but who really cares anyway

To What from Ridgeway Virginia, Just because you make a human mistake does not make you a hardened criminal. I agree Ive made a mistake or two in my adult life. I was never out joy riding and drinking. It dosn't matter what the reason was. People like you think you are better and can judge others. Yes, jail taught me a lesson, I just know that the guards that were there when I was there were abusive, redneck, and totally unprofessional.
