Actually , I belong to another Church not Highlands. But I have attended Highlands on numerous occasions and have always felt welcome & had a blessing everytime I went. I am a Christian, not a fanatic. I am saved by the grace of God & I just think it is terrible that people like you try to gossip & judge on this Church. You people "think" you know everything. You just need prayer. I feel sorry for you.

It's kinda funny that we "think" we know everything... when you claim to rely on "faith." I hope you see the irony here like I do.

You know, in the scriptures we see that when Jesus was present on the scene, He was all that was need to draw the people. He didnt have to give things away to bribe people to come. HIS presence was more than enough. The problem today is that the Holy Spirit has withdrew His presence from the average church. The focus has been taken off of worship and focus is now on entertaining the crowd and then give them a feel good sermon written by someone else, then beg for their money and send them on their way. In the bible, ichibod was written over this type of churches because the presence of the Lord had departed. Doesnt matter how a person may try and defend these practises, Gods word is true anc they is a lukewarm church mentioned in Revelation. We are seeing it now with these new mega sennsational churches. Givs away a car, offer trips, whats next just to get a crowd and be the biggest church around.

To HIS SERVANT:Your statement as a follower of the Davidsons ministry is consistant to the same defense that would be given by a follower id Swaggart, Bakker, Hinn, Tilton, etc

Everyone wants to defend their guy, no matter what he says or does.
That is what is going on in Atlanta now, people defending Bishop Eddie Long. You all are all the same.

his servant says, if you attack the leadership you attack the entire body,
You sir are an ignorant fool.
Christ is the head if the body, Not Jimmie Davidson. No one here is attacking Christ. We are exposing a false prophet. As far as he and his family being blessed financially, They along with their hand picked 3 man panel, set their salaries. I know the workings of this particular business.

Believe me, these hf people will stop at nothing to try and shut the mouth of someone that questions or disagrees with their leadership.
As far as giving away a new car, this is another church idea from last Easter that made the national news. Highlands leaders have no original ideas. They all come from another mega church. Highlands leaders are really not leaders, they are followers. First, it was Saddleback and Rick Warren , then came Northpoint, Newspring,Elevation, Ed Young ministry, now back to Rick with Decade of Destiny. These wanna be's are pathetic. It is all a big game of how big can we grow and how much money can we bring in. Thats it folks.

So, you're saying that you're uneducated?

I'll do you one better. You pray for a better job and a stable lifestyle, while I go get a PHD. We'll see who gets a better job and stable lifestyle. Heck, I won't even give away 10-15% of what I make. I bet my bills still get paid and my brother lives through his toe surgery. I'm not trolling here, but I did learn that Santa didn't buy the gifts and the Easter Bunny had nothing to do with Easter. Somehow Christmas is still calibrated as Christ's birthday. Did everyone in this area drop religion in College because they didn't like what they were hearing? I've seen preachers that hadn't been to seminary a day in their life, and I've heard false prophets tell you how to vote.

Faith is one thing, but thinking one man behind a microphone is always correct... that's a completely different rational.

Did you know the story of the birth of Christ wasn’t even on the 25th of December? The word "Christmas" is not in the Bible, and neither are "Christmas trees" or "Christmas presents". The truth is that most Christians do not know some of the most basic truths about what has been billed as their most important holiday. The truth is that there was a late December pagan holiday that was celebrated for centuries before Jesus was ever born, and many of the "Christmas traditions" of today can be directly traced to pagan religious practices of centuries past. The Roman Catholics decided to "christianize" that pagan holiday starting in 336 A.D. and turn it into a celebration of the birth of Christ.

Another fact, Easter replaced Passover, not only was a new date selected (the Sunday after the spring equinox rather than the biblically directed Nisan 14), but a new theme was introduced. Rather than commemorating Christ's death as directed by the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:26), the new holiday was designed to celebrate His resurrection. This new theme easily accommodated the pagan fertility symbols. It also helped distinguish the Christian community from the Jews, a major goal of church leaders of the time. What is it about stealing pagan holidays and symbols? I guess the original Christian holidays weren't festive enough...lol. Sheep!
