reasons to not like mitt romney

1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.
2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.
3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet.(How boring is that?)
4. Can't speak in a fake, southern, "black preacher voice" when necessary.
5. Highly intelligent. Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School...
and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.
6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college.
Too square for today's America?
7. Represents an America of "yesterday", where people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!
8. Has a family of five great sons....and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab.
But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that "choice" deserves America's scorn.
9. Oh yes.....he's a MORMON. We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living,
patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.
10. And one more point.....pundits say because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess that's because he made that money HIMSELF..
...as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad. Apparently, he didn't understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money
made you unable to relate to Americans.

His full Name: Willard Mitt Romney
He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.
His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan
He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan
He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.
B.A. from Brigham Young University,
J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University
Religion: Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints
After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.
After going to both Harvard Business School and
Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan
bar exam, but never worked as an attorney.
In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity
investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the
In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost
to Ted Kennedy.
He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic
In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.
Some Interesting Facts about Romney:
Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples;
now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.
Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again,
with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King,
Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply and many others.
He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.
He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight years.
He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years.
He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.
He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.
He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.
Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country,
but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.
And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income....
Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.
Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:
He will show us his birth certificate
He will show us his high school and college transcripts.
He will show us his social security card.
He will show us his law degree.
He will show us his draft notice.
He will show us his medical records.
He will show us his income tax records.
He will show us he has nothing to hide.
Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him
to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.
You may think that Romney may not be the best representative that the Republicans
could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag,
bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility.
I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into.
We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it.
But, on the minus side, he never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot,
never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church
whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

And Romney has not been endorsed by three dictators who hate America either.
The latest [dictator] to publicly announce his support was Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez,
Earlier in the year the government-official daughter of Cuban military dictator Raul Castro proclaimed her country’s support
“Will Obama stand up against Putin’s abuses?” Unlikely, now that the Russian dictator has extended his endorsement.

And Obama has NONE !
Obama Campaign Grilled on Lack of Second Term Plans
While the Obama campaign continues to demand that Mitt Romney spell out every aspect of every plan on every issue, Obama has demonstrated zero interest whatsoever in laying out his plans for the future.
That’s the point of a new Republican National Committee video culled from today’s Sunday morning news shows, during which David Gregory of NBC, George Stephanopoulos of ABC, Chris Matthews of MSNBC, Michael Duffy of Time, and Bob Schieffer of CBS all asked Obama surrogates just what Obama would do during his second term. Not one Obama official had a good answer.
And that’s the problem for Obama. As we grow closer to the election, the American people are becoming more and more comfortable with Mitt Romney, and less and less comfortable with the president’s tacit slogan:“Trust me.” Obama simply hasn't earned our trust.
Why would anyone trust Obama ?
His record of LIES & SMOKE & MIRRORS , are availabe anywhere you look.
#6 Oct 22, 2012
Twenty-seven lies. Thirty-eight minutes. That's the score for Mitt Romney, the King of Smirk, in the first debate. That comes out to about one lie every 90 seconds. That's gotta be some kind of record.
#7 Oct 22, 2012
That's a good portfolio of the man,but what about a world leader, diplomat,a down to earth person? His wealth isolates him from a lot of everyday Americans, and he is living proof it actually does, the 47% guffaw!
#8 Oct 22, 2012
You forgot to mention, he will be anything, be for anything, agree with anyone to screw you out of your vote.
Bottom line, he is a lying, lowlife SOB that doesn't deserve to be in the White House.
OBAMA!!!!!!!!!! Yes we can.

President Barack Obama ended up revealing an astonishing level of ignorance about the state of military technology during the presidential debate in Boca Raton, FL Monday night.
The U.S. Commander-in-Chief misspoke about bayonets. He misspoke about horses. He misspoke about the size of the U.S. Navy. He misspoke about the makeup of the Navy. And the whole time, he thought he was teaching his opponent Mitt Romney a lesson.
Obama mocked Gov. Romney's concerns about the diminished number of ships in the U.S. Navy by saying, "I think Gov. Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time studying how our military works."
Obama continued, trying his best to make the GOP challenger look foolish: "[Romney] mentioned that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well... we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go under water, nuclear submarines." Obama added that it's not about "counting ships," it's about "our capabilities."
These comments rang out with a snarky condescension that was only surpassed by their complete lack of factual support.
While the Army discontinued traditional bayonet training in 2010, the USMC still trains Marines with bayonets and issues them as standard equipment. The Army has also begun training soldiers in a different style of bayonet use--not affixed to the end of a rifle but as a secondary melee weapon.
To make bayonet training relevant again, the Army got rid of the bayonet assault course, in which soldiers fixed a bayonet to the end of a rifle, ran towards a target while yelling and then rammed the bayonet into the target center. Instead, soldiers learn in combatives training how to use a knife or bayonet if someone grabs their primary weapon.
Some users on Twitter have claimed that, by virtue of the USMC still using bayonets, there actually are more bayonets in use than 1916, when the army had between 100,000 and 140,000 enlisted members. As of 2010, the Corps boasted 203,000 active duty members and 40,000 reserve marines.
Regarding horses, a statue of a member of the U.S. Special Forces on horseback was just unveiled at Ground Zero in New York City. When our Special Forces invaded Afghanistan post-9/11, many did so on horseback. I personally remember sitting for a lecture in Austin, TX in 2005, given by a member of one of the first Special Forces teams to arrive in Afghanistan. He talked at length about their reliance upon horses.
As to the size of the Navy, Romney's remarks about fleet size were centered around a concern that U.S. naval forces would in the near future be unable to operate in multiple regions of the globe simultaneously. While Obama dismissed this out of hand, Vice Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Mark Ferguson reached a similar evaluation months before the debate:
“Our role is really about the flexibility of forces, that they can move to various regions, both in this region in the Gulf and outside the Gulf... Should sequestration be enacted, the Navy would not be able to support the current national defense strategy and it would cause a reduction in the size of the fleet to the point that we would have to relook at the strategy,” Ferguson said. The Navy “would be reduced both in size and in its presence around the globe.”
Even at the beginning of Obama's term as President, the Navy had a goal of producing a 313-ship fleet by 2013. It wasn't until 2012, after three years of unfulfilled promises of economic recovery, that the target was abandoned. What happened between 2009 and 2012 that made the Obama administration decide that it could downgrade the size of the U.S. Navy further yet maintain its ability to operate in multiple arenas simultaneously?
Lastly, Submarines are boats, not ships. Obama got this one wrong as well
Perhaps President Obama "maybe hasn't spent enough time studying how our military works"?
Desperate FAIL Obama

You are Desperate! Are you not bothered by your boys willingness or forgetfulness to completely change his position on all subjects depending on who he is speaking to? Makes me a bit more nervous than his magic underwear.

1. Do not like the president raising national debt $16 trillion.
2. Advertising for people to apply for welfare.
3. Giving stimulus money to companies who eventually go bankrupt while raising EPA standards so high that power plants can't afford to use coal.
4. Ignoring problem in Libya till it was too late.
5. Ignoring Israel but cozying up to Muslim Brotherhood.
6. Failure to provide a budget for last three years.
7. Executive order that allowed illegal aliens that came here as children to be, for all intents and purposes, accepted as citizens would be. The Dream Act could not get through Congress as a law but the executive order circumvented that process.
8. Obamacare. Like a few things in it but hated majority of it. The process by which it was written (behind closed doors) and way it was passed (bribing senators for their votes). Plus excluding Congressmen, unions, and other federal employees from those regulations. And who can forget that statement from Nancy Pelosi. "we have to pass it so we can see what's in it".
9. Billions that were wasted on stupid stimulus projects that improved nothing. It did not create long-term jobs. Only temporary ones. And very few of those.
10. The efforts of Dept. of Justice and the court system to deny states to require photo ID when casting their votes. Please explain how photo ID is discriminatory. If I buy a drink or use my credit card, I must show ID.
11. Lack if protection for our country along our borders. The lack of support for border guards. Some not allowed to carry loaded weapons.

Most intelligent Americans feel the same way.
#19 Oct 24, 2012
1. Bush raised the debt $10 of those $16 trillion. 3. The lack of demand for coal and the lower cost of natural gas is what is closing coal down, not the EPA. 8. You just described every piece of legislation in Washington, not just the health care bill.
9. There have been more private sector jobs created during Obama's administration than during Bush's 8 years.
#20 Oct 24, 2012
Less people employed today than when Obama took office.
That's a fact.
Is that a record of success?

Yes. The majority of lost jobs were government employees. There you Repubes go flippy floppin again. You were the ones that want a smaller government but don't like the consequences of firing all the employees because of the strain it puts on our economy. Something to be said for "you can't eat you cake and have it too."
