I don't have balls thank you because I am female. Anyway, I came in here because It's a public forum discussion page. I didn't realize a jerk had replied until today so I replied back. I went to the owner, the manager already. Nothing done but no biggy, I won't go back so doesn't matter. I don't expect them to cater only to me. There are plenty that don't like it as much as I do just like plenty that do. Again, this is a public page for opinions on businesses.......why wouldn't I post my experience here??

You want to remove your posts because you feel stupid. The building looks no different than it did when the hardware was there. If you don't like it don't go back, it's pretty simple. Don't bitch about it online.

We ate there yesterday and thought that the food and service were excellent! My husband had the pulled chicken and pork. We loved being able to try all of the sauces. The baby bakers were awesome and the corn fritters were absolutely delicious! Very reasonably priced, too. My daughter ate free!(Kids ten and under eat free with each adult entree purchase.) We live at exit 7, and are kind of tired of all of the restaruants there, so we will drive to Abingdon to have Bone Fire smokehouse again!

BBQ was't bad, but the sides were from a can. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Phil's Dream Pit iff eastern star rd if you want good bbq.

Went last Saturday. Was not impressed at all. I understand that it was crowded due to Festival Traffic, so no problem there.

But, I'm sorry, the food left a lot to be desired. The baked beans tasted like they were right out of the can. The hosts, were unprofessional saying unprofessional things to each other about the line of waiting people. Nah...Won't be back, but still, I hope you get the kinks worked out and do well!
GOOD SERVICE BUT THE FOOD

I tried Bone Fire during the Highlands Festival and was very disappointed. First there was next to no one in the restaurant (red flag???) at a time when Abingdon is crawling with out of towners. Our server was great, very funny and attentive (ask for Cody if you decide to try it against my advice.) Our main problem was with the owner who arrived at our table just as we had gotten our meal AND PROCEEDED TO TALK TO US FOR 20+ MINUTES AS OUR FOOD GOT COLD. Just as we got rid of him, the manager came over and sat down for another ten minute chat. Let people do what they came to do...EAT. PS There are bad rumors about the owner. I'd stay away for that reason alone.

Sadly havn't had a chance to try the pork, but the wings really hit the spot! They also have a new bartender and he makes the BEST margarita!!! I'm pretty sure they have a band playing tomorrow night, think I might check it out!

My husband & I ventured in a couple of weeks ago in search of some place new. The food was better than I anticipated but not great. I was sad to see what has been done to the inside of the Hardware Co. The booths are gone. The uptown flavor which always was The Hardware Company is no more than a biker bar. We won't be back!

I haven't tried Bonefire, so I haven't seen it. But I hope your fond reminiscences refer to the days before Wither's. If not, then you don't really know what the Hardware Co. ever was. If so, then I join you in missing the "good ole days."

WRONG----the service SUCKS BIG TIME, If you go make sure you don;t tip for bad service, that may be the only way to get the place to improve

Was there last night and service was fine. Quit being a grouchy bitch and stay home. Cook a meal for once.

We ARE in the old withers building, and have had a few setbacks with the renovations, but we're very very close!
We have the tables in the dining room, we finished the tile in the kitchen today, our new kitchen equipment will be delivered tomorrow, and we're having staff orientation on Monday!
We should be open for lunch by April 7th, and open for dinner and bar business (at our 50 foot full bar!!!!!) About a week later!
I seen so many roachs in the bonefire and have talked to the employees and they told me that the kitchen is full of roaches and how bad there working conditions are back in the kitchen I talked to the owner and he seemed arrogant I give it a thumbs down and I myself will never eat there again I would hate to find a roach in my food

I have been there 2 times...1st and last it was over priced and very bland. We love brisket but it was very dry and tough as shoe leather, if you want great bbq drive a little further up the road to Wolfe's if Marion on Main St. It's awesome!!
