I'm sitting here listening to the scanner, WCLSC was on a call & they got a 2nd call of a wreck, they told dispatch to roll it over. With all the members they have why do they only run 1 ambulance & sometimes the crash truck. Seems to me they're all about being paid, what about the volunteer members coming out when the duty crew is on another call (other departments run several calls at one time) why can't they do the same?

A Ambulance runs with at least 2 people. A Crash truck runs with one person. you don't run a Ambulance with one person unless you have a member on secene to help, unless you want trouble. and know all departments have 5,6,7,8 menbers standing around to wait for a call, there is standing days each member pulls and so on.

lets get off kf4uel and back on the subject please. u wanna post about him then make one. i actually listen to the scanner on the web. back to what this post is about please. WCLSC! Good or bad! Patient care may be really top of the line, the trucks and equipment may be the best out there, but what about what does go on behind closed doors. do we want that in our community? do we want our future emt, intermediates, paramedics to volunteer for what has added up to nothing more than a whore house. Whos to say that disease wont eventually be spread there and then they give it to the patients? What if a pissed off spouse/mate came in and decided to just take everyone out that wronged him/her? Do we want that kind of mess around here. That is not the way to get put on the map. If ppl are having affairs and just flat out having sex there then that needs to be stopped now. Thoes ppl should be reported to the captain and if he/she wont do anything then go to the board of supervisors and have it done.

Anyone that takes up for KF has major personal issues with our local authorities in general.

Im guessing Bristol emt is someone that couldn’t get a job locally and has to commute to Bristol, could this because you were involved in the activities you describe at WCLSC?

Why would you have to listen to a scanner on the web? You most likely are not an emt.

"just words and Anonymous", no i dont have a personal problem with WCLSC. I am not taking up for anyone as a matter of fact. KF is another topic all together. I have not only a scannner but also a portable thank you very much. But the scanner online can pick up places like New York, ect that my scanner will not. As for being an EMT-B, i have been such for almost 15 years now. Proud to be one as a matter of fact. No i have never been on the Washington County Lifesaving Crew either. Why should I. Enough of the shit that happens there gets out to everyone in the county and further. I just think that the ones doing all the nasty should either be banned from the place or put on leave till things can be straightened out. No one likes a bad rep. I have a wonderful husband and kids and i am a very christian person. Does no one on here watch the news anymore. I worry all the time about someone hurting my husband and children. People are crazy anymore with the drugs and such. Being in the medical field meant helping others, not hurting the ones you love. Thats all that happens at WCLSC. Hurting the community that they love so much. Everyone on here can think what they wont about me. Dosent matter one way or the other but people should never degrade a wonderful place like a rescue squad, fire dept, police station with what they have been doing. It it morally wrong in more ways than one. I was taught to be faithful to my spouse and i always will be. There is no one that can come between us except god and he will call me home one day. God Bless to all who serve with EMS. Never was this meant to hurt anyone but just to open eyes to what is going on. It needs to stop.

The captain knows it goes on & does nothing about it and the board of supervisors won't do anything about it either.

i work with some of the ppl that volunteer at wclsc. i think they are good ppl. Also they can always be called on to help other crews when needed. just because things happened in the past dont mean they are happening now.
