As a victim of abuse as a child I can tell u tht they do not conduct an investigation...unless there is physical evidence on ur person or some type of videos or something of that sorts...they take ur statement and then make an arrest,..I'm not saying who is guilty or not guilty but they both deserve the benefit of doubt until it is proven!

I went to school there for 5 years and church for way to long. This man is a crook and a Liar. How do I know.... They let me graduate with a 9th grade education in English"John Price gave me my diploma in the agrement that I would atend church for 1 year". At 17 years old I didnt think much of the future, sMo a couple years later I realy regreted it because I couldnt go to college until I took 2 years worth of "catch up classes". I think he is GUILTY. He turned me away from "organized religion". Hes just another POS in the Johny House!
I also went to school there and graduated from there and I will admit tht there are things that go on that aren't what a school should be but tht doesn'take him a child molester I just think he deserves his rights as an American to be assumed innocent until proven guilty

shows how stupid you are "elder" bail is not based upon guilt or innocense, it is based upon "whether or not you are likeley to appear for your hearing or not",. What you have here is a Magistrate without balls, that decided to let a judge make the bail decision instead of being man enough to do his job. Only death penalty crimes call for the magistrate to make the decision of NO BAIL

Bull Crap, you have it all wrong as someone who was abused as a young child I can tell you this: when it happens you are afraid to tell anyone, afraid that you won't be believed, also you feel dirty and you feel maybe you have done something to deserve this. I am grown now but I still have to see a counslor on a regular monthly time-line just to be able to function in this world. I don't know the man nor do I know if any of it is true I just know what it feels like when it does happen to you as a child and you think you have no where to turn.Just speaking from experience, don't want to cause any trouble on this issue, but don't judge the girl nor the man until you have all the facts.
I will agree with you, However, this is a 17 years of age girl when it supposedly happened so she was at an age that there is no reason she could not have told it then......Sounds like somebody wanting a cash settlement....

Bull Crap: I still have to disagree with you, even if she was 17 yrs old ( and that is a big if) and she did come forward she is not considered an adult and in this county people of any status stick
together and depending on if the girl was from a big shot family she still would not have been believed. It really does not matter the age there are women out there every day that is raped, abused and still the police won't do anything about it because just look around you most of the blind people and (I don't mean not able to see), and you see this all the time on the news most stupid people say well she was asking for it or she deserved it, she got what was coming to her. Even in this age and time with women having equal rights in just about everything else that is one subject that women are not taken seriously. No means NO and a man should respect that. Both deserve their day in court and if he is guilty not only will he be judged by man but he will be judged by the Lord. If she is lying than she is just hurting all the others that are really abused for they sure will not come forward after this, and she (if lying) will be judged by the Lord also.

She may have been 17 at the time this awful thing happened to her and I am sure she was scared to death to say anything, because this was a person she put trust in and was not supposed to do anything to harm her he was supposed to be a man of God. What if she told her mother and the mother refused to believe her because of who he was supposed to be a minister, a pastor, someone representing God.The God I serve does not uphold for evil things like this. So, the way I see it the one's that has been judging her and making comments she should have spoke up when it happened needs to see the whole picture. If she told her mother about it and the mother chose not to do anything about it, like the title says where was the mother? As all of us know a mother bear will do whatever it takes to protect her cub, but unlike the mother bear, humans think of themselves first instead of the precious gift God has in trusted them to bring up and protect.

I think it's unfair to think the alleged victim is lying just because she waited three years to report the abuse. It may have taken her that long to muster the courage to come forward. While this will be hard on the alleged molester and his family, imagine how hard it must be for this young lady. I don't believe he would have been arrested without sufficient evidence. EVERYONE involved needs our prayers. God knows what happened and His time is not our time, so there may be a very good reason for the delay in reporting. I heard he was in church on Sunday.

im not a fan of christians or any other "church"
most never practise what they preach.
but i do know that the harm has been done to this man and his familey, guilty or not 6 months from now when this goes to trial everyone will have moved on to a new scandel in the news.
like the 15 yr old girl from knoxville that accused her teacher becawse she thought she was pregnat by her 14 yr old neighbor.
or the woman that had her home burnt down by the police trying to catch her son, when he wasnt even there.

and if you think the police have to have some real evidence to charge someone with a crime...you better wake up

you might be the next name in the paper...

You are right there have and always will be innocent people put in jail just for the word of
another person who has an axe to grind. I still say lets all wait for more evidence to start judging, not because he is a pastor nor that she waited so long to come forward, if all of this has grounds to stand on then there will be others who finally get the courage to come forward. I for one (and I don't matter) is waiting for more proof and to know why they are not putting any of this on the news. If (and that is a big if) he is guilty we need to get him off of our streets before another person is hurt and that means his family also.

If he is guilty - let him pay - if he is not guilty, the damage is already done, because he has been convicted by public opinion. As someone stated earlier, there is her side, his side and the truth. And as Tammy said, if there are others, they will come forward, now that someone has broken the silence.

I don't know if there are any others because not sure either are telling the truth. but if this is true and there are others I still think they may not come forward because of the pain they went thru with and if they have families they will not want their families to go public and have to be hurt also. My main concern that none of this is being put on the news and alerting the public of the situation just to be on the safe side, is that asking too much of our law enforcement or would that be hurting his rights. Just asking because I don't know. I consider both innocent until proven guilty.

Maybe some are right, Maybe Mr. Price shouldn't be charged. Instead maybe the Deacon's and Church Elder's should take the blame, since they have always tried to protect him at all cost. Promising to take care of the problem and see he got the help he needed. Well now look at the lives he has destroyed. I hope the dozen or so from the past come forward and speak up so maybe the Church Family will open it's eyes. How sad a few have led a whole family into believing someone is so great. What, most of the knew just chose to turn a blind eye, it wasn't their child. How Sick!

First im proud that young person was brave and strong to come forward bc i was abused by my brother in law from child till teen and i never told anyone. Come to find out so was my younger sister. Well god got a hold of him and he told and confess his sins. See i never told bc i was scared and he said he would hurt my family. I was a child and even a young adult is too. Why do u think they say with age come widsom. They call elders of the church for a reason! This really hit home for me bc what if i stood up c god wants us to stand up for right and not only we need to lead by example and give christ a great name. Do u wonder why people dont come to chruch think about it...I want to say thank u bc i believe this young person and if you read this and someone did this to u please stand up. I am a mother now and im very protective over my child. I pray for this young person and pray for him bc god is in control. To those who want to put this person down u need to stop now bc if u have never walk in these shoes u will never ever understand at all. This effects u mental and emotional plus ur daily life then future. I am very proud of you for taking a stand and speaking out if there is anyone else please come forward. See my abuser came forward and told all then he past away couple of years ago and god did repay him bc he became very ill. Like i said if you have not walk in a shoes of beening abuse sexually then my best advise is say nothing until u have experienced it. We lead by example......

There have been plenty found "Not Guilty" because there was not enough evidence to convict. Just because someone is found "Not Guilty" does not mean they are "Innocent".
