Regardless of who told on the guy, the bottom line is he is a cop and he is held to a higher standard. He is charged with following the laws that he himself has broken. That is conduct unbecoming of a police officer. He and the sherriffs office new the rules when he got hired.

Did he screw up, yes. Did he know better, yes. Was he arrested, yes. Does the average joe screw up, yes. Does the average joe know better, yes. Does the average joe get arrested, yes. The fact he is a police officer is just another desciptor. Everybody hates the cops until you need them. If your gonna blast them, and I know you are gonna, at least get all the facts right.

I guess your whole family are saints then. Everytime something in this county happens or someone does something, everything in the past is brought up again. What was done in the past, even as near as Cullop has nothing to do with this. Everybody has something or someone that they dont want out.

I think being charged and not convicted with a DUI is a little different than a felony drug charge! When any one else gets a DUI do they have to go to federal prison? I think not "Saw it". Conklin is a good person who just made a mistake not a felony so you don't know what it is like till you have walked a mile in someone else's shoes. You should see who called on him some old married lady who is the director of the Marion Senior Center, she told him that she was not married and was so when he came to her house she freaked out and called 911. Any body know Mindy Dyer? That is the person that got him in trouble.
Tony might have been sentenced to federal prison but he is currently serving his sentence at Southwest Va Regional Jail which is where Shawn will serve his sentence. Smart allec!

I am not sure, but I don't think you serve time unless you are officially convicted, which he has not. Won't that be on a court date? So what if he is charged and not convicted then there won't be any time for him to serve right? SO I guess he can just go up there and see his family as a guest or visitor.

You are right I have trouble reading some of the posts when they are not spelled correctly or have poor grammar usage. If you can`t spell that is fine but do not knock the people who do have an education.
