Of course, there are the obvious reasons (lost my job, became disabled, etc.), but do you know of anyone who has had to go on food stamps due to motor vehicle law costs such as DUI costs, late traffic fines, or mandatory auto insurance, leaving poor people without any money for food, and forcing them to go on food stamps. (No names please, only if you know if this is happening).

If a person has to have foodstamps due to the fact they have a DUI then I say let them starve. As a taxpayer I should not have to pay for someone else's mistake. There are a number of legitimate reasons individuals need goverment aid. I do not want to support those who are to stupid to follow the common laws of society.
