Don't slam the 'wish' convoy

In response to "Convoy delay," [Letter, May 9] I really feel bad for you. Oh, and "Don't get me wrong," if you can read, you would have seen the Make-A-Wish was publicized in the Evening Sun on numerous ...

The petty griper was probably another of today's, all too many people who have absolutely no time management skills and are speeding and driving recklessly in an effort not to be more than a few minutes late yet again. These people have no awareness of anything going on around them because they are too concerned with only their selfishness. Your talking to the wall when you say "wake up buddy and the next time leave sooner or take another route."

Your comment "I do not understand why the Make-A-Wish gets slammed every year" might mean that NOT EVERYONE enjoys the loud trucks snarling up traffic. In this country we have the right of freedom of expression. Sue was brave enough to speak out. Learn to accept that not everyone will agree, deal with it and move on.

These people in this town/area do nothing at all except cry and complain about everything. It is quite pathetic. I said it before and I will say it again.

This town needs to be bulldozed one night while everyone is at home sleeping. We can rebuild and start over.

End of Discussion.

There's that limited vocabulary again. But then again you dropped out of HACC, so we can't expect much.

Nope, I like the area. I hate the people. I can fix the problem. I want to create a Hanover Prison Camp. The Prison Camp is actually one giant oven with a big hole on the outskirts.

How do you like your local Hanover native? Rare, Medium or Well done.

Good point. Make a wish convoys had kids with medical problems in them, of which thats what the money was being raised for.

To the person who wrote this complaint about the Convoy, I wish you would have been in Rwanda during the genocide. You definitely deserved to have your arms and legs hacked off with a dull machete blade. Idiot.

Dude, I think you smoke pot or crack. That was my twin troll (Steve) that wrote that, not me (the real Bil98z24). Don't feel bad though, I already know you are stupid. You do not have to apologize. I wont forgive you, but I do understand. Now go chase cars in the A-town circle. I'm giving you a 1 day ban from the computer.

I for one would rather hear the sound of a loud truck running Sue over.

I'd like to share that my son enjoys riding in the convoy. The truckers enjoy driving the children. The money raised during the convoy goes to grant wishes for children diagnosed with life-ending ailments. As someone else has shared, be thankful for every day and hour you have with your healthy children. You never know when you will be walking in our shoes. It's heartbreaking when you see your child suffering, you spend many days and nights without sleep from watching over them and many times you don't have the support of others. I hope you all will support Make-A-Wish in the future years. I will share that we are moving out of the area because of the insensitivities we have encountered in the greater Hanover area. We are moving to a more hospitable place that will accept my son and help me, as a community, to support him.

Hope all is well with your son. I have immediate family with major health problems, my heart goes out to all the kids.
