So if 18 is "ok" then why are we taking the children of those that are 18+ or older? She can choose, but she is incapable of raising a child?

Why are we willing to let children remain in drug environments where there is a known immediate threat versus a "possibility". It would appear that there is another agenda other than saving the kids, or else this would not be the only group targeted this way.

I also feel 18 is an approprite age for us to butt out of their business. But that doesn't seem to be the consensus of most here on the board.

Adoption is the end goal of foster care and THAT'S where the money I$.
