As the saying goes, "The Nile is not just a river." From the west has come a terrible scourge on our city as now a second man in our wonderful city has this dreaded disease. We don't even know what the hell it is but apparently mosquitoes have flown from Africa to infect us. Everyone is up in arms about the Ebony virus but this Nile one is a real killer. I am calling on the governor to make a statement about this when he gets out of jail to clam the nerves of the local populace. The only ones happy about this are tavern owners who are doing record business as the local try to calm their fears with strong drink. We need to fight back against this before it is too late.

A picture says a thousand words. Still true. Minutes after giving a speech about the horrific beheading of an American citizen. The POTUS is grinning like a fool on the golf course.

One-party FART rule
See also: Confederation of Farting Mexican Workers

In 1929, the National Farting Mexican Party (NFMP) was formed by the president, General Plutarco Elías CalleshitFarts. The NFMP convinced most of the remaining farting revolutionary generals to hand over their personal farts to the Mexican Fart Army; the party's farting foundation is thus considered by some the end of the Fart Revolution.

Later renamed the Partido FART Revolucionario Institucional (PFRI), the new party ruled farting Mexico for the rest of the 20th century.

The PFRI set up a new type of fart system, led by a caudillofarts.

The party is typically referred to as the three-fart stool sample, in reference to Mexican poop and farting workers, peasants, and bureaucrats.

After its establishment as the ruling fart party, the PFRI monopolized all the political wet farts: it did not lose a toilet seat until 1988 or a gubernatorial fart race until 1989.

It was not until July 2, 2000, that Vicente Fart of the opposition "Alliance for Wet Farts" coalition, headed by the National FART Action Party (PFAN), was elected farting president.

His farting victory ended the PFRI's 71-year fart on the presidency.

What a lame post. If that's all you got, go crawl back into the koi pond you stupid suck fish.
A Spanish senator from the ruling conservative party is facing calls to resign after she blamed Spain’s national debt on “subsidies offered to homosexuals”.

Luz Elena Sanín, a member of the Popular Party, has been condemned for her “homophobic comments” after her controversial defence of the austerity measures introduced by Mariano Rajoy, the prime minister.

Mrs Sanín insisted that the measures were necessary to pay back the debt run up by the previous socialist government’s policy of “subsidising NGOs and homosexuals”.

She claimed that the government of Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, the former prime minister, had forced the national debt to surpass a record €1 trillion (£800 billion) with “his favours” to the gay community.

'White House: That round of golf after the Foley video was released doesn’t show the depth of Obama’s grief

posted at 11:21 am on August 22, 2014

'Many factors conspired to make O’s golf outing seem distasteful — the brutality of the Foley video, the fact that David Cameron quit his own vacation in response to it, the contradiction in Obama’s vowing to be “relentless” against ISIS before proceeding immediately to the first hole.

But the coda to the video showing Sotloff being menaced was the coup de grace politically, I think.

Obama shouldn’t (and won’t) give in to ISIS’s demands to stop the bombing in order to spare Sotloff’s life but “fore” is not the proper response when you’re given an ultimatum that involves a man’s head being sawed off.

And of course it reinforced the perception that this guy simply doesn’t much like his job anymore.

If watching jihadis decapitate an American citizen isn’t enough to interrupt your recreation, what is?

But listen: Precisely because there are SO MANY LOW-INFORMATION VOTERS OUT THERE.

I think he’s dead right in how he’s calculated the cost/benefit in all of this. Namely, there’s NO COST.

MOST PEOPLE WON'T CARE, some who do will forget about it literally tomorrow, and the people who’ll remember it forever were stalwart Obama critics in the first place.

Have a look at his job approval ratings over the past two weeks or so if you doubt me.

Conservatives have been hammering him for seeming disengaged since he landed on the Vineyard, more than a week before the Foley video was released.

Michael Brown was killed on August 9; protests in Ferguson went on for days while Obama golfed.

The campaign against ISIS also started rolling, with the fate of the Mosul Dam in the balance. He golfed on.

Russia threatened to invade Ukraine and Israel’s attempts to contain Hamas wore on too, and still he golfed.

Surely the public would react badly to a president frittering away his time on a famously elitist game while the world burned, right?'

JeebusS, from page 1, November 5, 2008:

"Yep.

People don't care. They just wanted a black president. Period.

You're right, they have no one to blame but themselves when taxes skyrocket and the military becomes downsized, leaving us vulnerable to attacks.

They are actually happy that they have put this country in danger. "

Attorney General Eric Holder flew to Ferguson, Mo., on Wednesday as the nation's chief law enforcement officer leading an investigation into a police shooting. He also arrived as an African-American who said he understands the racial tensions that have fueled days of protests that have been marred by violence and mass arrests since the Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.
"I am the Attorney General of the United States, but I am also a black man," Holder told Ferguson residents at a community meeting. "I can remember being stopped on the New Jersey turnpike on two occasions and accused of speeding. Pulled over....'Let me search your car'... Go through the trunk of my car, look under the seats and all this kind of stuff. I remember how humiliating that was and how angry I was and the impact it had on me. I had a white girl in the car with me too who was an easy lay but after we got pulled over, she was too spooked to spread."
Well I guess your mom had to draw the line somewhere.

Foley should have known better than to expect a terrorist organization to respect the sanctity of journalist. It was a nice speech he made trashing America, while knowing his captors were going to kill him. I hope that he was giving a coded message of some kind because he put himself in that situation , not America and certainly not the President. Obama going back to the golf course sent a loud message to ISIS. He showed they do not dictate terms with America and deserve no respect for their barbaric actions. Would you rather Obama go and attack shrubbery like George W.?

Playing golf is a strong message? LOL. I think trading 5 Taliban Commanders for 1 deserter is a much stronger message to the terrorists of the world than Obama's fixation on golf.

But you get a point for deflection effort.

The only message Obama sent by attending his golf just after this is that he is not in touch with any of this and he doesn't care in the least. All you idiots are still bringing GW into it every time you need to excuse Obama for something stupid and blaming the victims.

George Bush traded 535 prisoners and got nothing for them.

Putting aside you are a m/f c/s liar: the prisoners traded were not Taliban commanders.
