first of all how many familys or persons have been interviewed to get there thoughts about the dumping of treated sewage. And no not all residents are against it, that means more jobs and less people asking for benefits from the goverment.People from this town don't make alot of money at there jobs or have to drive out of town to work and with gas prices . This might just benefit us instead of hurting us .

Turning your town into a toilet for other communities is shameless.

Most people in Sierra Blanca are opposed to making their home into a dumping ground. Bringing toxic sewage from NYC shows no one wants it and will pay the transportation cost by rail to get rid of their poison sludge. Sierra Blanca is again being raped at for a few rich people to make a lot of money. Sierra Blanca is better than to be a toxic toliet bowl and laughing stock of the nation

They have good jobs in Iraq. If you don't mind traveling and packing bodies for shipment to the US.

Most people from here are low income. To us it would just be another way to get more jobs opportunities into our community, and help people out.

That is fertilizer. Some of it is PROCESSED poo; some of it isn't, unless you consider mulch, poo.

It's shame people will allow other people to dump their crap on their town for a job working with the crap. You people deserve only crap!

the issue here is not really the crap. what else is in there? industrial waste is worse than crap. when did the dumping cease? why the worry it will resume? Is it worse than a nuclear waste dump right down the road?

In all fairness! The hardest thing to get when you don't have money,is money. People need an alternative income so they don't have to pimp their community! The death dealers look for regions that are hard pressed for income and bend them over the barrel. The government looks the other way. Someone needs to get screwed.

It is a shame. We should ask the politicians and the people incharge of the agency to send these sewage sludge in their backyard and let us see what they are going to say.

How about the goevernor and other policitians. I suspect if not all of them, majority will be against this dumping in their state and you'll be wondering why it happens.
