why do you say "allowed" Who was going to disallow it? There was a LAW in Missouri that gave people the right to KILL Mormons until about 15-20 years ago.

the reason for polygamy in the first place had NOTHING to do with the polygamy that is happening NOW...we had lost a LOT of men due to the 1838 Mormon War, The Mormon War in Illinois in 1844 and The Utah War (Buchanan's Blunder). Due to hundreds of men dying in these wars, there was a need to have men taking care of families that were left without husbands as well as assuring that the community would still have men in it to do the farming.

Actually one of our Apostles is European and in the First presidency for the LDS Church. He worked for Lufthansa...his name is Dieter F. Uchtdorf who was the senior vice president of flight operations as of 1982.

We also have 11 LDS Temples in Europe. There are 2 in England, 2 in Scandinavia, 2 in Germany, and other temples spread throughout Europe as well. The Temple of Switzerland was the first in Europe for several years.

Please, again, know how to differentiate between the FLDS and the LDS. The LDS Church has over 13 Million people and is EXTREMELY well established and MOST neighborhoods within the US have members in every city who are MONOGAMOUS and are active members of their respective communities whereas the cult FLDS still, to date, maintains an excommunicable offense BESIDES polygamy itself which is various levels of torture and sexual offenses such as rape and molestations.

How does God speak to everyone? He has never done that before...He has ALWAYS had a Prophet which he used to tell people of his will. Why would THAT change???for YOU?

He loves all of his children, but he doesn't tell EVERYONE what is happening...have YOU had any personal visits from God? Yeah, didn't think so...I know I haven't...YET..I DO know that there IS and always WILL be a Prophet...your unwillingness to accept it does not change that fact!
