Estranged Father Testifies in Sect Case

In the weeks since the authorities raided a fundamentalist polygamy group here in West Texas in an investigation of possible child marriages and abuse, the sect's mothers have drawn the most attention.

See, some dads are coming forward and helping and others are staying away.
The ones who have nothing to hide are cooperating.

So he is going to move his wife and 12 kids to Texas and take in
five more from his "Spiritual" wife? Now exwife or estranged wife?
Why don't we say girlfriend with kids?

She's 35 and he is 59, That's a 24 year age difference. She was 20 according to him which would have made him 44 when he took her as a spiritual bride.

And now they aren't together and he is excommunicated such that he can't enter the ranch and see his kids. He might have a shot now that they are in state custody.

Can't win for loosing in this whole case. It will take the state of Texas years to end all this mess.
The children will be the ones who get hurt in all this mess.

Excommunicated is the magic word here. A excommunicated Dad coming forward. He couldn't enter the compound to see his kids. Doesn't seem to be many Dads in good standing within the compound that have come forward.
