Fred, did you ever kill one with your pistol? Not finish one off. You know like one ran passed you and you unloaded and slayed it with the .357?
I was planting mustard and turnip greens at the begining of one season. I was holstered up with .38's for target practice later. One came out about 75 yards away. Mais with 38's I was not as good as you with one shot. That thing was moving real fass. I unloaded. When I went check, there was a moodee chevrais. I never had that opportunity again.
I shoot a 243 or 7mm mag. Most deer are out of pistol range. Most of my shots are 100 to 200 yards and I have killed one at 300 yards before. In the marsh I shoot my 10 guage with buckshot. Range up to 100 yards because I have an extra full choke 34 inch barrell.

The whole story is this. You want the truth. But if real people come to your house to educate you and introduce themselves you treathen to kick their ass. But then you got Tony on speedial and that's a good man but like a coward you'll go hide and use that speedial.
You've been wrong all along.
I just may show up with with my old daddy so you can call Tony.
We have much to talk about.
Much more than me and you.

People come to my house all the time, but no one has said they wanted to have a friendly conversation. All I get is threats. And I said if they broke in I would shoot first then call Tony after they were dead. I don't need Tony to protect me. I can protect myself. I never said Tony was on speeddial, so you are lying. And what are you trying to teach me anyway? If I need to know something, I either look it up on the net or make a phone call. I also never said I would hide from anyone. So you are a big liar and not welcome to come to my house because you are insulting me to boot. I said I would defend myself, not start a fight. But I will kick ass if someone touches me unless if it is a handshake and they are coming to start trouble. Then AFTER I kick ass, then I will call Tony.

You called the cops on Dawn, so don't act like you aren't a cop caller. I would have probably listened to her story, and offered her something to drink. She obviously posed no danger to you. You are just a scared of harmless people. Whereas, I have been threatened. That is the difference.

Man, I love that gun......

That 10 guage shoots the 3 1/2 inch shells. Weighs 12 lbs and is an Ithaca. About 30 years old. Has a 1 inch recoil pad and has knocked me on my butt when I shot it squatting down at a duck.

I like my 10 guage for everything. I will kill a squirrel from 70 yards away, and a duck from about 60 yards away. A lot less crippling than with my 12, and lately the shells have been cheaper for a 10 guage than a 12.
