Jack and Sugar I understand what your saying. But dont you believe some of the blame should be on the banks also. Wasnt the banks supervising these loans. What were they just giving these contractors all the money they needed. I understand what your saying but I believe some of this is also the banks fault. Dont get me wrong the contractors arent correct for what they did but put some of the blame on the banks also for allowing to go this far.

Todd you read the legal news. How long before a deposition becomes public record?

It has to be transcribed. That normally takes a week. Then all the attorneys get it. They sit on it another week. It is then sent to their client, who was deposed, to proof read. This will take two weeks. The client sends it back to his attorney, and the attorney sits on it for a few days. Then it is recorded. 1 month give or take.

If the client has to make changes to his answers, this adds considerably to the time, as this has to be sent to the opposing attorney, then recorded.

Note: Any party that is a party to a suit can sit in on the deposition of any other party, or a witness.
