Feds say Barna made $77,000 over 4 years at $500 per case = 154 persons charged with 1st offense OWI getting off virtually scott free. I pray that they learned their lesson and did not get behind the wheel drunk again.

The as of yet unannounced accomplice( like we don't already know) shared in the profits.
All that investigative work by the FBI and no real charges. Only slaps on the wrist.
Just a note.
Harson was not charged and tha FBI claims he was unaware and unknowing of the plea deals.

There is more than one co-conspirator.
They shady Secret Cajun Man, Robert Williamson, is definitely in the mix. After the FBI raided Harson's office, Harson instigated his own internal investigation of the facts and he put assistant DA Kieth Stutes in charge of that investigation. Right now, Kieth and his wife are both considered co-conspirators number two and three.

Then we gotta take a closer look at Barna's Husband, the Lafayette Prosecutor Gary Haynes. Gary has represented the Secret Cajun Man in more than one fraudulent insurance claim. Cajun Man has also plaid dirty along beside Senator Donald Cravins Sr in an extortion attempt that included Gary Haynes and Judge David Blanchet.

The FBI is confident that they will be handing out additional charges and they will gain additional guilty pleas for that effort.

Thanks for being concise.
What took ya so long?(:
So what do you think will happen to any co conspirator if one if ever named?

A guilty plea with no real punishment reeks of political favoritism in the very agencies sworn to police those with the utmost responsibility in upholding the law.
Status quo will continue.

Actually, that was mostly a cut and paste from a post I made last April. Seems if anyone needs to catch up to the here and now regarding this abuse of the Justice system it'd be people like you. Myself, I'm way ahead of ya.

So what do I think will happen to a co-conspirator in Harson's office? The guilty parties will prolly end up with their own reality TV show and the whole state of Louisiana will be proud to have such exemplary Cajuns representing them.

"....Humans being what they are, political corruption will always be with us in spite of the laws we pass, and only the election of citizens with moral integrity can diminish the lure of political corruption that casts its spell over those in power. Lest one get the idea that Louisiana is the epitome of political corruption...[Jindal's] ethics bill notwithstanding, political corruption is still a way of life down on the Bayou and itíll take a lot more than another law to change that."

Nice try but the FBI is a federal agency. It is the one who has dropped the ball in louisiana.
And you're right. You can write all the laws in the world but if a conviction or guilty plea , in this case, goes without even a hint of meaningful
punishment it is a waste of taxpayers' money.

That is a good thing that happened. Maybe they will start looking at other charges that are dropped around the parish also.

The Feds didn't drop this ball. They, like all law enforcement have rules of engagement to keep the investigation neutral. The Good Guys play by those rules. Harson, however, gave orders to assistant DA Stuter, to investigate the FBI investigations. Stuter, a co-cospirator of this fraud, was allowed access to evidence and was also allowed to "interview" anyone he wished in connection to the allegations. Allegations that he himself will be found guilty of along with his wife. I said it almost a whole year ago...this "internal investigation" coming from Harson was a blatant obstruction of justice on part of the DA.

And already today the FBI has stated that Harson's kick-back for justice scam involved more than OWI criminals. The FBI says that Barna accepted kickbacks for providing justice short cuts to drug dealers as well. And as long as Barna keeps talking and cooperating, she won't recieve any additional charges. That was part of her plea.

The Feds ain't done yet, Mitch. The ball is still in play.

How much did Todd have to pay to get all of Erik's criminal drug charges dropped? I heard $200,000 plus some cocaine to someone else???

Don't hi-jack your own thread, dude.
Cause you don't know JACK about Blanchet except what you read on Topix.

Getting back to Barna,
Hope she talks all about that Bondsman scam that Harson has going on the side. When you work for Harson 30+ years, ya can't help but pick up on the simple simon stuff.

It amazes me sometimes how exactly alike you two are.

Funny to hear you say that, Mitch.
Let's see...
You and Todd...both prodigy son's.
You and Todd...waiting for that elusive inheritance.
You and Todd...never had a real job your whole life.
You and Todd...two men in their mid-50's who think they're HOT!
You and Todd...wasting away in margaritaville and thumbing on Topix.

Who has a twin in this forum?
Dude, you never saw the similarities before?
How much denial are you in?

Nasty, nasty kinda early tonight.
Is it a natural occurance or did the obsidians kick in?

You really have a problem with people that have families. Whether it be Todd, mrsc, woods, your x or your daughter. Must be lonely to live in a prison apartment complex where cameras record everything. A normal person would want a house and a life.

Denial is not wanting to recieve help.
Denial is your forte.
You are the hijacker of peoples' lives because you cannot have a normal one.
People have long figured you out.

Whatever you say, Mitch.

Why don't you just cut to the chase and tell us all who my informant is? MrsC figured it out. C'mon, Mitch, beat her to the chase.

Who is my informant?
