FYI, this says Task Force. This is not just APD, there are several members from other depts involved here. It is the Sheriff that got this task force started. I am not trying to take anything away from Tony, however lets put things in their right order here and not give Tony all the credit when in fact there are so many others that work so hard at this. In fact Drew David with VPSO is in charge at this group, not Tony.

You are not 100% right. Tony told the sheriff he needed two officers to work JUST ABBEVILLE. When Coleman was in office at times the entire task force was in Kaplan or Gueydan or wherever. The next thing is Tony gets to pick which APD officers are on the task force. A couple of bad officers without probable cause can mess up the whole ball of wax.(See State of Louisiana VS Kevin Tremain Frank)
Drew is a great man and the task force will be a lot more productive than when Coleman was saying stuff behind Drew's back. Another thing is Tony has officers on the lookout for suspicious behavior. These officers are not members of the task force but have already nade a drug arrest. Actually it was the officer and Tony that arrested the narcotics trafficer. Look for these arrests to multiply after Tony gets his officers better trained, and the new officers on the streets.

First of all, none of you retards deserve any credit for making some two bit drug arrests. You fools bust someone with 4 ounces weed then stand up and take pictures, then claim its 2400.00 worth of drugs. You narcotics agents make me gag the way you do the "dog and Pony" show when you make a little bitty bust.
Know how much weed is smoked in Vermilion parish in one month? Has to be at least about 500 pounds. Know how many pounds are confiscated each month? About 3 pounds.

Tony is a true law enforcement professional who knows exactly how to run his department and he surely does not need any so called help from those of us who are in the peanut gallery. He probably doesn't even read the stuff that is said about him whether it be pro or con.

Wow that is a kicker. Hope she doesn't make a run for police juror. And also maybe they should not get to public with who they support for office from now on.
Maybe she was scared of Coleman

It don't matter what Lion says. None of them are or were drug distributors. Scared of Coleman for what? Maybe to get a picture of a penis sent to a unexpected cell phone recipricant?

Now this is a real drug bust that makes a difference. Don't post a drug bust as news unless you can show us something like this.

http://www.klfy.com/global/story.asp...

By the way, take notice how retarded our criminal courts are. Yes, I did say retarded. This man had in his possession 244 pounds of cocaine in his church point home along with 1.8 million dollars.
He got 12 years in prison. You have some little one ounce dealers getting that here in the 15th J.D.C.
