There is a state of emergency in Louisiana and the price gouging law is in affect.

What really pisses me is the fact that the EPA has lifted the summer blending requirment for fuel so that it can be made more readily available, while Jindal had put price gouging restrictions into effect.
What the hell kinda loophole exist here?!
The avg price of a gallon of gasoline was $2.59 two days ago.
This morning it is selling between $2.89 and $2.94/gal.

I stopped to get gas in Lake Arthur yesterday at noon, I paid 3.65, two hours later, my daughter stopped at same place, she paid 3.96.
