This is a Mother's Day column for Lessie Towns, 75, who is called "Mom" by her neighbors and has lived in her brick Chicago bungalow in the 9400 block of South Ada Street for almost 40 years.

It's a shame that the state politicians allow scams like these and payday loans, and title loans. If they cared at all about the people they represent, they'd shut them all down now. They are far worse than subprime lenders.

Anyways, while it's not the first story of its kind, this is really well done by Kass. Proves that not all of the threats to our safety and welfare are external.
Here's hoping this isn't the last we hear about attorney Paul Shelton. Not only should the Cook County state's attorney and Illinois attorney general's offices be looking into this, the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission should be investigating as well.
BTW, the Shelton Law Group LLC, which was previously called Oak Brook Title, was involuntarily dissolved by the Sec. of State.

attorney to attempt to save her home
so she has to depend upon the good
graces of the State Attorney General.
To the legislators in Springfield she
is just another average voter/taxpayer
who only matters at re-election time so they won't pass meaningful laws to
protect her because the perpetrator is
contributing to their election fund.
And that trick who calls himself a
"deacon" who set-up the "flip", well'

John. Thanks for the information on this legal brief you have made public. This attorney is one of those get rich quick people from Hinsdale. These people do everything just to take advantage of any one and everyone with in there so called net work. They will make you do for them everything and when you need help they are never around or to dam busy for you . One friend wanted me to clean and organize all of there closets for the second time! I only did one, and 4 months later it was a mess after I to them stop shopping for stuff at Costco. A family of 4 doesn't need 9 stick of antiperspirant and tons of make-up! I make dam sure I do not associate with anyone from Hinsdale! They ll live way beyond there means and have major debt. I'll bet you could buy a repo. house there real cheep!
