Haha! Nicely done!

I'm excited to see it, I like this kind of movie. Turn your brain off and be scared for 2 hours. I know what I'm in for and I'm good with that.

Just to see Chicago's very own jonathan Sadowski should be enough excuse for Cicagoans to go out and see this!

I haven't heard many good things about this movie, but I would still like to see it. I think Friday the 13th part II is the best of the bunch. That was actually a scary movie. I really didn't like the remake of Halloween, I thought that it gave me too much of the history of Michael Meyers, that I really didn't want to know. I enjoy coming to my own conclusions about what made Michael the way he was.

Hmmm...your last encounter was JASON X? Guess that means you missed the clever FREDDY VS. JASON then huh? Too bad because that was a far superior film to JASON X.

Sometimes it's okay to go along for the roller coaster ride and just have fun and not overthink things. Horror movies are supposed to be fun.

Best part of Jason X is when he dips that girls head in liquid nitrogen and then smashes it on the counter.

And at the very end when he's riding the guy, plummeting to Earth.

Bump this! I need a second Freddy vs. Jason fix! The first one was the best slasher that I'd seen in a while!

I don't understand why they assign snooty movie critics to review "useless(as he calls them)" movies like these when he knows, going in, he's going to hate it! Why don't they hire a HORROR MOVIE BUFF to review these movies, and let this guy guy go review something Oscar Worthy(aka boring!)!

Hubby and I went to see it and had a blast. This is the kind of flick you go see to laugh, duck, get that "squicky" feeling, grab your honey's hand and feel your heart pound. And enjoy Jared Padalecki in a tight, wet t-shirt, of course!

All fun and no need for mind engagement, what else can one ask from a movie?

They need to make a "Freddy and Jason Go To Hell" movie, where they are duking it out in Hell. Who would play Satan?

Jason in space was as bad, perhaps worse, than any from the entire series. But, viewed purely as comedy, a parody of itself, it was an undeniable masterpiece.

Already have tickets to the afternoon show today and also enjoyed Jason X.
I understand Dean Richards is giving it three stars so don't go by this reviewer who probably hates horror movies. He is probably one of those who say's "I like horror movies I enjoyed the first Halloween". Always look out for horror hating reviewers, they always use the words "gorno" and "torture porn".

I wonder what Jason's feet smell like? The filmakers really need to explore that aspect.

Well it depends on which movie. In the first one, his feet probably don't smell, since he is in the lake most of the time, so they stay clean.

In II thru IV , they probably smell, just because he doesn't bathe.

From VI on they probably smell like rotting flesh, since he is now the walking undead.

In Jason Goes to Hell, depends on who the demon is possessing.

Agreed. Critics have no clue what makes a good classic horror flick. Killing for no reason and drunk young people having sex.
