cool name but i'm too old to be fighting and i don't think it's a good idea to be talking about an armed resistance on a public forum, ever heard of treason?...besides i have no guns for them to take. i think i buried them all somewhere and can't seem to remember where.

and yes, to the earlier question. if EVERYONE every single american started packing illegally or legally it would make the laws mute (which they already are since criminals ignore them anyway)...all of these recent shootings in "gun free zones" are PROOF that gun laws don't work. the problem is that many refuse to acknowledge that proof.

Agreed.

A .308/7.62 bullet would NOT stop in a leg unless it was a indirect hit and the bullet lost a lot of energy before hitting the leg.

Every whitetail I have shot with a .308/7.62 had an exit wound. A BIG exit wound at that. The last deer I hit in the heart at about 150 yards was knocked onto it's back, legs up and was dead before we got to him.

Let them read it and let them understand Syria and that not all Americans are cowardly and afraid of them. Many have gone to death in the Revolutionary war, Civil War, WWI and WWII for our freedom and we will not stop here. Anywhere there is tyranny there will always be men willing to fight it.

We the older people let this happen so why should our young people have to fight it. It was our laziness. apathy and non-caring that let this happen. Perhaps it is up to us old timers to fight as our days are numbered anyway so let's not go out as cowards but as true Americans fighting for our constitution.

Today the news said a 22 cal was used in the shootings. They said it once while talking about the AK at least 4 times. Now I want to know how many rounds were fired from each gun and how many people if any were hit with 7.62 rounds. They use any means they can to attack assault weapons.

I'm not taking orders from someone that wants to call himself "Become a Criminal".

the older ak47 is 30 caliber-7.62--- the new model AK-the ak74 IS 22 caliber it is the 7.62 x 39 brass necked down to 22 caliber.--some new models fire the AMERICAN 223 caliber. years ago the Russians decided the AMERICAN 22 caliber round was better than their 7,62x39 round. and decided to make the new model (AK74) in 22 caliber. YOU are correct the media does not know their butt from a hole in the ground about firearms. and I am not defending them--- just stating facts that the new ak74 is 22 caliber.----- I doubt if the media has a clue as to what anyone was shot with. one news channel I heard the dittsy broad newscaster talking about a shooting-- say the victim was shot with a AUTOMATIC REVOLVER--- now that is just plan ignorant.
