Great flick and Kilmer's career-best performance.

Now what was it again the Connecticut Yankee was trying to teach me about "Southern women"?:>))

Well, as you already own one, there's little I can teach you. But, and mean a big butt, always look at the bright side of things, All stoves have a low, medium and high setting. How do you like your meat? ;)

Got to hand it to him for timing but I'm thinking there's a statute of limitations somewhere that would cover this.
We demand to get paid for all the hours we worked in Egypt, Social Security, overtime, bonuses, insurance etc etc. Poor Egypt, they wont finish paying for the next 300 years.

Can't afford them until Egypt pays up. Nah, tuxedos are so 20th century, man...you got to get with the times. Besides, doesn't your parliament meet in shirt sleeves?

It was an F-0 tornado and Florida drains well...we were back in the wedding business in half an hour. That's also why there's so much golf around here.

So tuxs are out in th USA?? They sure look better than t-shirts unless its on girls and doing the wet t-shirt contests.

What really seems to have slipped out of style is brides consulting future in-laws about style. We'd have loved to have had some input but this one was owned by someone else. Another mind-bender is that we spent a small fortune on our daughter's wedding and they are no more married than my son is with rolled-up sleeves and khakis. It was a lovely affair and no one died.

Thanks Fearless, had quite a graze on your behalf. If you don't mind the new nic you can sit in Elijah's seat...there's already some wine poured.

Same here, kids dont ask parents about anything, cause they know everything already. How "lucky" for them.

Interesting and true:

Reality Check says:
April 11, 2014 at 9:55 am
Because Muslim men admitted to themselves a long time ago that Muslim men are animals that can’t control themselves and arrived at the conclusion that women are better off locked at home or guarded by a male relative outside.

As much as it pains me to say this, I’m beginning to believe that Islam is good for certain races with uncontrollable libido – races that think nothing of pouncing on an unattended woman. I lived in the Arabian Gulf for two years and, trust me, a woman is really better off behind a locked door or with a male on her side. Behind the thin veneer of modernization, there is a 7th-century savageness regarding women. Believe them that they are modern at your peril – as a white European woman, I was incessantly harassed by local animals in all shapes and sizes, asked if I would become their girlfriend and invited to private villas by total strangers.

No wonder then that Muslim men will not allow their women to go outside without a male attendant – Muslim men know exactly what Muslim men are capable of and do not trust Muslim men the slightest bit. I believe, however, that certain ethnic groups (e.g. Arabs) have a far greater propensity to follow women and this natural propensity was made even worse by Islam’s commandments.

At the same time, the Arab Christian men I met and worked with were infinitely better than their Arab Muslim counterparts. Which says what? Well, to me, it says that a religion’s moral principles are no doubt a great influence on every individual.

Just give all those Muslim women in the Middle East the freedom to go out unattended and they’ll be raped by their pious men before you say “knife”. Just give all Saudi women the right to drive and they’ll be raped, too.

So Islam works for Muslims. If you make them live according to our principles, there won’t be even one Muslim woman intact.
