There's a thin line between don't like and hate, Spell Marshal. Pseudo intellectuals use those words "don't like" to disguise their real feelings and, somewhere in those super egos, think it separates them from those other dumb slobs. Fact is, it's as transparent as their panty hose. Especially Red Necks.
Yeah, that line must run right through the spot where the "b" goes in "sambobama". I guess if you leave out the "b" it's the same as hyphenating G-d...something to do with respect and not taking his name in vain.

Right?

Why? They told that Doctor the reasons are proprietary? What's proprietary about pure and simple greed? Well, the CEO isn't going give up any of his 13M+ salary. So,something's got to go. Samobama Care requires companies to turn those profits back into services for the needy. Of course, needy means what? His supporters?
It's shocking that in this day and age, you can get so far off course despite the availability of GPS guidance.

Do me a favor, explain it again only go slow so that us southerners can understand how the affordable care act makes insurance companies greedy and irresponsible.

He might be G-d to you but he's G-Damn awful to many. I have the same PCP as the old man and he says it a direct result of the Affordable Care Sacrament. Hey, don't worry. It just hundreds of elderly and sick people that are affected. This may be the trend to control the population without making it look like your fault. Squeeze the rats until they bite the ones that can't fight back. Let's hope they all follow suite. Maybe you can get a DVM to treat you. As it should be, in your case.

United Healthcare yanks the rug out from under the old folks and it's the POTUS's fault? This is the exact kind of corporate gerrymandering the ACA should address. Of course, those teeth were probably pulled in the process of getting the bill passed but the insurance industry is clearly the enemy here.

You should just go back to hating him for being black. You play a believable racist but being completely ignorant isn't your strong suit.

You don't think that the people who designed that POS Legislature didn't anticipate cost cutting pushbacks from these companies that are forced to pay for non-paying indigents? That's like blaming the stampeders in a movie theater because you yelled "fire". They knew exactly what they were doing and many people saw that coming. Unfortunately, they were Repugnicants. Those that weren't enchanted by skin pigmentation. Ignorance? I know you are but what am I?

Hah! You've managed to expand your repertoire in two brief posts. Now you're really rocking ignorant.

Contrary to what suzu might say about AIPAC, the insurance lobby is the most dangerous influence to fair government on the planet. These companies don't do anything for free...they barely do anything for the billions they make and when God forbid you finally need to use your insurance they do all they can to avoid paying.

When indigents get care it's you and me that pay the bills. Buy stock in United Healthcare or wise up and call the real spade a spade.

A Christian Exemption To Obamacare Available! Healthcare Sharing Ministries
Healthcare Sharing Ministries!

[link to christiannews.net ]

"On pages 107 and 128 of the Affordable Care Act, Christians who participate in healthcare sharing ministries are exempt from the “individual mandate” to obtain health insurance.

The legislation reads,“…Exemptions from Individual Responsibility Requirements —(A) In the case of an individual seeking exemption based on the individual’s status as a member of an exempt religious sect or division, as a member of a health care sharing ministry… Such term shall not include any individual for any month if such individual is a member of a health care sharing ministry for the month.”

However, in order to be eligible for the exemption, the healthcare sharing ministry must have been in operation since 1999. There are only three organizations nationwide that qualify under these terms: Samaritan Ministries, Christian Healthcare Ministries and Medi-Share."

I checked out Christian Healthcare Ministries first ([link to www.chministries.org ])

Here is their Gold Plan:

Gold =$150.00 per unit, per month
$500 personal responsibility per unit, per year. Total bills incurred per incident must exceed $500.
Includes:
• inpatient and outpatient hospital incidents* and surgery
• medical testing
• maternity (click here for more information)
• physical therapy and home health care (up to 45 visits)
• incident-related doctor's office visits
• incident-related prescriptions

Here are links to the only three healthcare sharing ministries exempted:

Pops was okay and so were we as things were. Had no problems with claims. WTF are you talking about? Get out your prayer rug. Maybe this Socialist experiment will bode well for you as you seem acclimated to more Government control of your choices. I did notice a lot more boot licking than usual.

The words "incident-related" is scary. Does that mean you have to have an incident-related event to see your doctor for a wellness exam? An "incident-related event to get your Lipitor or Simvistatin? Looks like you have to justify an incident to get coverage. Why would an old Prik like you even consider such a thing? Are you accident prone? Problem with stairs? Cleaning out the garbage disposal while it's running? Sticking forks in the light socket to see if the breaker is tripped? Am I reading it wrong? Could be. After all, I'm deemed ignorant by our resident Sambobama Fan. 8>)

Speaking of socialism, I'll qualify for medicare in August at which time y'all can suck my nose. Until then, Blue Cross is bleeding me dry and if you think there's nothing wrong with the insurance industry in this country, you must have never had a preexisting condition.

I don't know if I can handle Jesus in between my doctor and me any better than you tolerate the government between you and yours but if the Gold Plan means you pay the first $500 and the rest is covered 100%, convert me and sign me up for a faith-based healthcare co-op.

You may want to check with Pfizer.

http://www.lipitor.com/patients/lipitorforyou...

When they found out my insurance was offering a slight discount for generic atorvastatin, they contacted me direct with an enrollment offer in their 30 for $30 program. I don't know know whether you qualify but they have a $4 co-pay program too. I guess they'd rather be the heroes and keep their market share.

Neither one of you Einsteins answered the question about "incident-related".
>Incident: An incident includes medical treatment or testing that lasts until one of the following events occurs: 1) a certain medical condition is cured according to official medical records; 2) treatment is at a routine maintenance level; or 3) you experience 90 days without any kind of treatment for that particular condition. The medical bills incurred from the first test to the last treatment before the doctor releases you to a regular, routine maintenance regimen are considered a single incident. If 90 days pass and you receive no further treatment, any future bills you incur will be considered a separate incident.<

So $500 each =$1000 out of pocket for 2 before any insurance kicks in? Plus $4600/year for the other coverage (2 units)? Looks like Doctor's visits such as mine (twice a year) and Specialist visit (once a year) comes out of pocket. Same for unit #2. Now it $20-co pay and 35 for Specialist. If you are gambling on being sick, it looks like something worth looking into.

Excuse me, Hypochondriac. Your e-mails tell me you worry about everything from toe nail fungus to superflous anal hair. Listen to me, Father Time. You may be independently wealthy, but your lineage tells me that you wouldn't roll the dice on something as important as health insurance coverage, and have to pull up those floor boards or slice open the matress to access those funds, Mr. Marner. What a hoot!!!

Neither one of us is Christian either. You mean to tell me you want the Jews to tell you about a Christian co-op? I can't wait for you to ask a Druid how Islamic banking works, I've always wanted to know the difference.
