And when you have a future, you work hard to secure it, and have a generally optimistic outlook.

What could be so bad when your kid just lost his first tooth? Israelis are also happy because we see that we can build the future we want for our families and our country even without another glitzy signing ceremony at the White House every six months. Our country is getting stronger and more livable every day. And we know it.

Those on the international stage that share our view that life is about more than pieces of paper signed with Arab anti-Semites recognize what is happening. For them Israel is not “that shi**y little country.” It’s “The Little Engine that Could.”
Take the Chinese. Last July China signed a deal with Israel to build an inland port in Eilat and a 180- km. freight railway to connect Eilat to Israel’s Mediterranean ports in Ashdod and Haifa. The purpose of the project is to build an alternative to the Suez Canal, in Israel. The Chinese look at the region, and they see that Egypt is a failed state that can’t even afford its wheat imports. The future of shipping along the Suez Canal is in doubt with riots in Port Said and Suez occurring on a regular basis.

On the other hand, Israel is a stable, prosperous, successful democracy that keeps moving from strength to strength. When the freight line is completed, as far as the global economy is concerned, Israel will become the most strategically important country in the region.

Then there is our newfound energy wealth. Israel became energy independent on March 30, when the Tamar offshore gas field began pumping natural gas to Israel. In two to three years, when the Leviathan gas field comes online, Israel will become one of the most important producers of natural gas in the world. Moreover, in 2017, Israel will likely begin extracting commercial quantities of oil from its massive oil shale deposits in the Shfela Basin near Beit Shemesh.

Geologists assess that the field alone contains some 250 billion barrels of oil, giving Israel oil parity with Saudi Arabia. Chinese, Russian and Australian firms are lining up to sign contracts with Israeli energy companies. International analysts assess that Israel’s emergence as an energy power will have a stabilizing impact on the global economy and international security. Israel can end Asia’s oil and gas hunger. It can reduce European dependence on Russia. It will remove OPEC’s ability to dictate world oil prices through supply manipulation.

Israel’s discovery of its energy riches couldn’t have come at a more propitious time. Had Israel discovered its oil and gas 65 or even 20 years ago, we wouldn’t have had the economic maturity to manage our resources responsibly. But now, with our free market, our hi-tech sector and our entrepreneurial culture, we can develop and manage our resources wisely and successfully.

At 65, Israel is becoming a mature, responsible, prosperous and powerful player in the international arena. The only thing we need to ensure that we enjoy the fruits of our labors is security. And the one thing we can do to squander it all is place our hopes in “peace.”

And so we won’t, ever again.

Wow time just flew by. Life's just so uber-awesome, fast-paced, basically sleepless right now.... LOVE it haha!

If not for Islamic Terrorism in Boston, I may not have even thought about Topix until next year, but it was another wake up call and proof of Obama's spectacularly failing foreign policy & ideology.(See: Apology Tour, Arab Spring, Benghazi, the economy, etc, etc, etc)

Anyway, so what did I miss?

1) Bibi re-elected for 3rd term as predicted despite a truly massive, unprecedented years-long combined effort by Washington DC, Brussels, Riyadh, Doha, Dubai with their unlimited wealth & resources... to stop Bibi both in 2009 and in 2013. But it wasn't just that unbelievable outside pressure & dirty trickery, it was also the Cowardly, Uber-Corrupt Israeli LEFT Surrender-monkeys that also joined those anti-Bibi forces: Israeli media, courts, justice department, academia, Soros-funded NGO"s, Justice & Foreign Dept, the burn-out fat ass incompetents in police & Shin Bet... plus of course the old left-over Socialist era oligarchs, monopolies & labor-unions that see their bloated existence threatened by competition, true freedom & economic dynamism.

The phony-baloney Soros engineered, Libtard MSM-fuled 'Social Justice' in 2011 was just part of it... better luck next time, Daphne Leef, Itzik Shmili latte-revolutionaries, lulz!

LOL, US still can't forgive the younger Bibi taking power in 1996 and stopping the Oslo madness dead in its tracks, or at least slowing it down enough and of course ushering in capitalist, free market reforms that slowly took root -- as per that Caroline Glick article. No wonder Bill Clinton was so pissed off at Bibi, Clinton thought he could just charm and trick "that sh!tty little country", huh? Instead Mossad got him on Monica...ooops!

Another big thanks to that AIDS-riddles pedophile Yassir Arafat for walking away from Ehud Barak's generous offer at Camp David in 2000. And of course Holocaust-denying, Munich Olympic Massacre financing Mahmoud Abbas walking away from Ehud Olmert's even more suicidal offer in late 2008. As per the unforgettable Abba Eban, "Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity".

2) And really, with Bibi pre-occupied with Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Muslim Sisterhood in Egypt, Jordan... plus the tremendeous after-effects of Global Recession of 2008.... election had to be far from his mind. Which is not to say that Bibi ran a good campaign, because he didn't even bother thinking that he was the only viable PM candidate-- he was right of course, but this is politics if you don't swim you drown, especially with the aformentioned unlimited resources, both overt & covert, the Left, US, EU, Gulf Arabs brought to bear during the election campaign. Including suspiciously timing Avigdor Liberman's indictment that they hung over his head for 15 freakin' years and which amounts to absolutely nothing.... right before the election, LOL Ehuda Weinstein is such a joke. It did cost Likud some seats, but that was to be expected ---- remember in 2006 Likud only had something like 12 mandates and that's DESPITE astonishing incompetence of Olmert & the mini-disaster that was Gaza Disengagement from just a year earlier. And then you have Bennett's challenge from the far-right....

In short, those who thought Likud could get 45-50 mandates while coasting & barely campaigning, were delusional. Like it or not, that's not how Israel works -- it really is so dynamic, diverse and yes, delusional about peace, that no party can have that kind of easy votes in modern times (no matter how right they are on the substance).

Moreover, Likud appears to have actually got more right wing with Moshe Feiglin, Ze'ev Elkin, Danny Danon replacing the feeble wristed, jaded appeasers like Dan Meridor, Mickey Eitan and Benny Begin (although the latter is respected for honesty, sometimes you can be honest AND still be wrong, sorry Mr. Begin stop coasting on your father's coat-tails)

And then there is Habayit Hayehudi and Naftali Bennett. Keeping Likud honest on the Palestinian question and fighting for capitalist reforms & hi-tech culture. That took votes away from Likud, but that may have been a good thing in the longer-run. As a bonus, a useless crook like Ariyeh Deri is fuming on the sidelines.

Yair Lapid? Bibi is smart to keep his friends close and his enemies closer. Like that party-destroying harpy Livni. Or Lapid who is actually a FRAUD but a dangerous one, he's basically Barack Obama redux. Knows how to lie effortlessly & tell people what they want to hear, which is the art of politics of course. Deep down, however, Lapid is an uneducated populist demagogue, but unlike his religion-hating idiot father, Lapid was smart enough to hide it.

Bibi stuck Lapid into Finance, let's see the self-styled Middle Class Maven do something worth a dang in the face of weak export demand & deficits, haha.

3) Shelley Yachimovich -- ouch, what a defeat for the Hatchet Face a.k.a 'World's 1st Unsuccessful Face Transplant" :) Much like Lapid, this another media loud-mouth who, through the shameless '4 Mothers' campaign, forced Israel to surrender South Lebanon to Hezbollah rockets in 2000. Couldn't have happened to a bigger commie. Ooops.

4) "Someone" allegedly trolled Assad and advanced Russian AD by bombing the weapons convoy & chemical WMD facility close to Damascus. Then both Fordow & Isfahan had more totally-spontaneous accidents. Message sent and received.

Kim Jong Kartman proving the Bush axis-of-evil thing right by threatening nuclear annihilation every other Tuesday seemingly. What happened to all the Libtarded apologists and all the WMD deniers? Good thing Sadaam was de-fanged at least. Now it's Iran's turn.

Trinity's Rev. Samuel T. Lloyd III offered a prayer for those who were slain "and for those who must rebuild their lives without the legs that they ran and walked on last week."

"So where is God when the terrorists do their work?" Lloyd asked. "God is there, holding us and sustaining us. God is in the pain the victims are suffering, and the healing that will go on. God is with us as we try still to build a just world, a world where there will not be terrorists doing their terrible damage."

Remember that dorky pussycat 'Ahmad Hamas' or Soy de Palestina I used to effortlessly toy around with in the beginning when I was like 14-15 years old & then in later years drive crazy by ignoring completely, haha? I know MKOT, TRD, NaNa and others thought he was just some harmless loser, but as you can see with the Boston terrorist sleeper-cell, jihadi monkey like Ahmad are the ones to watch out for. He's an engineering major, ties to east coast, older brothers in the "biz"; prolly would love to make some explosives for Hamas I bet, "no longer religios" act, uh-huh except when someone derides Koran then it's a 3-hour long theological debate to correct the kaffir time, LOL..... I always felt sorry for Ahmad, but after Boston Bombing someone should really look into this poor Pali sod, might have a younger brother Tsarnaev type a situation.

Just sayin, I think I know what may have happened to our little hookah-fellatin' sleeper-cell momo as an infant (sans the snow in Ramallah of course)

Hamas and Hezbollah already sh!tting themselves, going out of their way to make sure Al-Qaeda Salafists don't fire rockets lest Hamas monkey leadership promptly follow Jabaai, Rantisi, Yassin's, Daif's footsteps to Heck.

Of course Iran is the biggest game. And thanks to Leftists, lots of time has been wasted already and so the prospective operation will be incredibly complicated & bloody. Ya'alon, Ganz aren't really super-hawks and will likely delegate most of to the big daddy US. Either way, we're talking years of preparation 100's of Eitan drones, jets, cruise missiles, ICBM EMP, SuperStuxnet, the works. I don't know if Ehud Barak would have the guts to pull it all together, but Ya'alon will if need be.

Which is not to say Ehud Barak was a dummy that he's often caricatured by both his Right-wing opponents and his former Leftie fellow-travelers who consider him a traitor to the cause. No, Ehud Barak was very smart, it's just that he basically submitted to the will of Washington DC & Brussels puppet-masters. He was corrupt & cynical, but not a dummy. That's why the other Barack liked him, and why when you need a big weapons procurement contract or some diplomatic glad-handing, EH was your guy (as opposed to Avigdor Liberman who just tells too much truth for US/EU elites liking:)

If it any consolation i have a theory i'd like to share with you. Alot has been blamed on God throughout mans exsistence. Why he sits on his ass and allows evil to happen to others is an age old question.
I for one think their are different answers to that question. Of course theres the one about freedom of choice. But the theory i have might sound sacrilegious but im of the impression that God doesnt know everything. Would you invent the game of football if you knew who won every game or scored every touchdown? Of course not. Does God know who will recieve eternal salvation and who will perish? NO. Does he know in advance who will commit evil? No. Why do i think this? Because if God knew in advance it would cause him constant sorrow to know his children will perish. But thats not saying God cant know. I think he has the power to not know if he so chooses. If he has the power to create a universe than he has the power to not know. Another reason i think this way is the law of the old testament and the grace of the new testament. If God knew in advance that we couldnt live by the law and instead needed a redeemer in Christ, than why didnt he skip the law and go straight to the grace period? Why? Because he chose not to know.

Israel’s ties with Azerbaijan have grown since its once-strong strategic relationship with nearby Turkey deteriorated.
