The primary purpose of FOID cards (the FOID card system) is to prevent prohibited people from acquiring guns.
Apparently, the antigun crusader admits the FOID system fails.
So now, because the FOID card doesn't do what it was intended to do, the antigun nuts must require additional rules.
Di dyou know it's a crime to murder a person using a gun ? LOL.

I'm in favor of the concealed weapons carry as long as you have the proper permits, background check and training as in all other states that have concealed weapons carry!
You can try to call 911 and your dead while dialing
if you do get through to 911 your dead by the time the police get there
the only viable alternative is to protect yourself
instead of reaching for a phone should just reach for your gun.
once criminals understand that there intended victims are armed will be less likely to do anything criminal.

Criminals already carry their guns concealed (without a FOID card).
The gun laws are only applied to peaceful law-abiding people.
Lisa Madigan wants to know the names of the legal gun owners. The illegal gun owners don't bother obtaining a FOID.
Lisa Madigan is stupid.
