Families protest deal for officer in fatal DUI collision
Cecilia Garcia learned on Facebook of an emergency involving her son, Joaquin, 25, but hours dragged by before she found out the horrible truth: he and a friend had been killed when a drunken, off-duty suburban police officer driving the wrong way on Lake Shore Drive struck their vehicle last spring.

the deal of any OUI resulting in fatality should be serious jail time and permanent loss of drivers privilege forever.!
driving is a privilege not a right and of you abuse the privilege you lose it forever.
a law enforcement person should know better and be held to a higher standard.
