Dude face the facts, you are wrong here...Alcohol related death is different from Sleeping behind the wheel deaths which is DIFFERENT from Mechanical problems death...therefore, all different catergories, all different statistics. Alcohol making up 44% of all car deaths, which happens to be the highest stat...Just make sure you go to your kids tonight and admit it like a MAN that you are wrong!

LMAO!! There was only one "others" and they are, ironically, more clueless than yourself. We can call it a misunderstanding, but i am still 100% right, and provided more than what I should have to prove this. Your statement and examples of possibilities were the base of my arguement. You then later decided to change your variables to lump them to one category, which is okay.. but you continue to deny is, as if you meant to say drunk/not drunk. Which to me, Not Drunk is far to large of a category.

Should you be congratulated for being able to use spell check? Nah, you still can not spell. Continue to show your ignorance and lack of any real substance to the discussion. Every breath you take should be considered criminal. You are simply stealing air from the genetically superior.

My condolences to the family however not very tragic....it would be tragic if a plane fell from the sky onto the car. One car crashes are not tragic, they are caused by the driver's poor judgement. Be it alcohol or driving to fast for roadway conditions, it can all be avoided.

Do you people care that people are dead? It doesn't matter how or why, they are dead. Have a little respect for the families.

I don't know the circumstance of what caused this crash. But why does everyone always assume that alcohol is always the reason. Again, maybe this crash was because of drinking, I don't know.

But what I do know is that my husband and his co-workers get off of work from 2nd shift anywhere from 1:30 to 2:15 AM and a lot of them carpool. If one of them was to crash all of you jerks on here would quickly say "oh look at the time they must have been drinking" - NOT ALWAYS THE CASE! At that hour he might have fallen asleep.

No matter what the reason was, it's still so sad. My thoughts and prayers to their family and friends.

Okay, where are the moderaters for this forum? My teen-age sons came home from school and spoke to me after reading all the comments and told me all the 'colorful' language being used in some of the posts. Isn't someone SUPPOSED to be moderating this ?!?!

Dear Heartless Bastard,
To assume that all car crashes can be avoided is one of the most ignorant standpoints I've ever heard. Even if they were .0001% at fault, they paid with their lives. And though, thank god, I can't say I personally know you. I can say with 100% certainty that Rachel Bissey and Ryan Cole were infinitely better and more profoundly influencing people than you'll ever be. How's that for statistics for ya?

right but drinking is the heaviest cause of the crash.. What other reason holds more than the 44%? Come on people.. its not that difficult a concept.
Seriously, who are you? Chances are some poor pathetic middle-aged man with a growing beer gut sitting on here all day voicing your ignorant opinions because you don't have any real friends to share them with. HM, wonder why. Why don't you do us all a favor and go out and get a real job?

All my love, I will come personally murder you if you say one more foul thing about these two phenomenal people, Ryan.

Well,

I did know Rachel and she was a very sweet girl; Loving and kind. I hope she rests in peace and can forgive everyone for only thinking of themselves like typical Americans and arguing on a page that was meant to reflect on the loved ones we have lost. You can do as you wish on this page and say what you will. If you don't want your child learning new and interesting words then "you" the parent show monitor them and stop relying on the world to be your babysitter. respect the ones we have lost, and love the ones closest to you....they may not be there tomorrow.

It is the 2 year anniversary of this tragic accident and I came online to see if I could find an article that I had previously seen regarding the accident. Instead, the first thing that comes up on a search is this ridiculous message board. At this point, all of the negative, ignorant, and selfish people that posted things on here have moved onto the story of the day and probably don't even remember this story. I'm a family member of one of the people lost and we still miss them both terribly. I hope that you never lose a loved one in this way because I would never wish this on anyone. Yes, this is a comment board, but that does not mean that you should unleash all your ugliness while hiding behind a keyboard. For your information, the driver had one beer that night and that was earlier in the evening. I highly doubt that anyone on here can say that they have not done the same. If any of these cowards ever wanted to know the real cause of the accident, they can ask me and I'd be glad to tell them. Otherwise, get a job, take a class, get a life and leave poor victims like this alone.
