Accutane does not cause impotence - period. The rate of depression of people taking accutane is the same as the rate of depression of people taking antibiotics. Look it up. If this information bothers you then I suggest you never take an antibiotic for the rest of your life - which will be very short without the help of medicine.
For the very same reason toxins
A great number of these drugs are toxic

Besides there are always herbal remedies for infections

Hans Peterson is the victim in this case. He is the victim of serious malpractice, Cornbleet prescribed a drug for him that caused an extreme form of psychosis. Don't let our doctors off the hook, you may be the next victim.
Your so STUPID. As a person has taken accutane had a serious problem with depression and a nurse. You MORAN 2 accutane pills CANNOT DO THIS

It is really sad for the Cornbleet family, it is hard to react in such an horrible situation, I don't how I would have not knowing what drugs can do as I do now. But I hope one day they 'll realise they let go the main culprit. Hans petereson could have been someone else, a lot of normal guys could have react as he did.

You don't know what you're talking about. THOUSANDS of "normal guys" do take this drug, so far Hans' reaction has been the most severe and outrageous- he took the drug for TWO days. He was crazy from day one.

Hans Petersons father is obviously in denial that he raised a insane son and also possibly he is the exact one to blame, looks like a creeper to me, maybe some repressed memories there I don't know. At any rate he needs to quit blaming a drug he only had four capsules of and let his son take responsibility for his actions. His son could've killed the maker of the drug instead ! He chose a doctor for no real reason, does a sane person rationalize that way? He's dangerous and needs to be in prison permanently !

He was on the drug for TWO DAYS... That is not even close to enough time for there to be a steady state amount of drug in his system. This guy was psychotic and killed this doctor in cold blood - premeditated and gruesome in plan. HIs father is completely deluded and his attitude that his son is "a victim" may help to explain the narcissistic behavior of his child. The whole story really sickening and sad and honestly if the father thought that the drug was to blame for his son's myriad difficulties dealing with life, he should have filed a lawsuit against Roche... Feel terrible for Dr. Cornbleet's family - may they find peace knowing that their loved one's murderer was brought to justice...

I think this sick SOB is a coward raised by a very sick father who has contributed to his craziness. He should have guided his physco son in his early childhood. Maybe Daddy caused this physcosis. Sicko! Liar!

Well said Leah Rosen!!! I just saw the case on Dateline and after reading up on the drug & the case, I agree with you 100%!!! Another Doctor diagnosed Hans Peterson as being Psychotic, after the Accutane was taken, before the murder occurred!!! Very sad for all involved and serious action needs to be taken to stop this drug from harming other innocent persons!!!

Don't be ignorant, you absolutely don't know what you're talking about. Anyone who says accutane is incapable of causing depression is just plain wrong. It can also cause impotence and a lifetime worth of other problems, trust me.
Please explain how you know this for sure please.

The fact is his Father is why he is the way he is. He was raised by this man who taught him not to take on the responsibility for your actions. Its not your fault it's someone else's. I think the Father should be in jail. He knew all about how his son was and did absolutely nothing about it. He knew the young man's mental health was really bad and just let it go on. I'd say to the Father well I think you are to blame just like he blamed the Doctor. What a stupid, stupid man.

Both Peterson father and son should both take the father's advice...suicide. No wonder the son is a psychotic mess; clearly the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
