was born and raised in Chicago. the only violence we ever saw in the 50's 60's was in neighborhoods controlled by the mob or in black neighborhoods.

the violence in the black communities moved south as the blacks took over more and more of the south side of the city.

I don't understand how or why the black community hasn't stood up to the negro street gangs demanding the violence end??

blacks marched, protested, demanded and got civil rights the right to vote etc etc so why not just stand up demand and march for an end to blacks killing blacks just to sell drugs??

who but a black would put up with hundreds of black people being shot and killed?? this mass killing only occurs in black neighborhoods of America??

this violence killing crap doesn't happen in the neighborhoods of other ethic groups in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs.

so why do black people put up with this nonsense??

how does this violence come to an end?

the people of Chicago and other major cities have to decide to regain control of the streets.

city hall, state county and city police have to be a major part of the process but the inter cities need to be cleaned up.

drug sales, guns, gangs need to be taken down removed from the city streets. school children should not be in fear of crossing street gang boundaries to get to school.

NYC, NY cleaned up it's act years ago, the city reclaimed the park, cleaned up da streets got the panhandlers, hookers, homeless and the trash off the streets. made the streets safe to walk on 24/7.

Guess the people of NYC are a lot smarter better organized than the people of Chicago.
perhaps they love and respect NYC more than Chicagoans love Chicago.
