You are talking tourist traps.
Miami, bad = anyplace not on the beach
Oralando, bad = anyplace not associated with disney
Tallahassee,....bad = anyplace with a politician around.

I live in a solid middle class neighborhood, but 1/2 mile north is section 8 and 1mi south is low income and surrounding those places are more middle income neighborhoods. You dont hit real money till you go more east.

Yeah, you know south St. Pete is overall bad, but for the most part, it's what RACE said. Every few blocks it can change. I remember Tampa was REAL BAD that way!

WHen I was moving from Des Moines to the Twin Cities, I had an employee who grew up in St. Paul and had lived here her whole life until moving to Des Moines. She got out a map of the area and circled areas to avoid completely when house hunting, and circle areas where "pretty much everything here will be fine."

It is SO helpful when a native helps out that way.
