What did Mayor Daley have to do with the shooting, his statements came after the shooting of the cougar. He wasn't there, he didn't give an order to shoot the animal. Yes it could have been handled differently if they were prepared, but no one could predict where the animal would show up. As I stated in an earlier forum, how can you say they had other options. We did not see the animal as it was being shot. It could have become agressive if they were trying to contain it while also trying to protect the public. And in response the mayor, who was not there giving orders, is being targeted. Please. That is not an eye for an eye. What if the cougar had killed a small child before the police killed it, would we be praising the police, no the hypocrits in this city would be criticizing the police and holding them responsible for not stopping the cougar in time.

I really dont care who does what to Daley. Thanks to him, Chicago is on the fast track to being the next Detroit!

Daley is a JOKE!!!! I don't feel bad for him. I don't blame him for the cougar, however, I blame the idiots that he has employed. IT'S CALLED KARMA!! I don't think the fire has anything to do with the cougar, but with all the other stuff Daley allows to happen. Between him and Stroeger, Chicago is going to hell. I personally think they are the blame for gas prices being so high. With the tax hikes they impose and allow, it's just a joke that these idiots are still in office. I will never understand why they keep getting voted in as our City officials. They don't have good intentions for us or our City, but for themselves! The more taxes they raise, the more money they make!!!
