I should have said "unindentified."

I am sick and tired of the Tribune and their so-called editors' sloppiness in reporting news stories.

"Automatic pistols" were NOT involved in this event, and they know that. Semi-automatic pistols were used by the criminal, but I guess it sounds more dramatic to lie.

One should know if they had been shot prior to reporting or making out a report.

Hey PJR...I think its safe to say this cops a hero...he killed a bad guy that had three guns, robbed a bank...and was shooting at a police officer.
you must be a real left wing nut to make a comment like u did. you probably believe the aunties and grandmamas on the news when they hold up eighth grade graduation pics of their dead gangbanger relatives and claim they werent in a gang too......I suppose those kids never point guns at the poleases either

so there are your two different ID's. i'm not sure how reliable the medical examiner is on these kinds of things. i also don't know, when your going to rob a bank, do you bring your wallet with your ID in it? seems like that would clear things up rather quickly. on the other hand, this guy sounds like a real mutt and probably had a few different aliases. anyway, if he had ID, i assume the cops would hang onto that and so their version would be better than the coroner's.
other than that, there is the problem of older versions of stories lingering on the website, resulting in differing and sometimes conflicting reports.

so you hear something;depending on whom said,we believe it.journalism requires a sifter.how else to justify a killing.if your child was in the car w suspect, the "news" would sound different.if there was no robbery, the officers motive was 2.lets not forget the lies of other invasions.racism is a Crime against mankind people

I think its safe to say that there was no hidden racism or conspiracy on the part of the officer given the deceased is on video robbing a bank shortly before he hopped out of a car and tried killing a police officer

it sucks to lose a relative..especially in a way such as this but my advice is stop blaming the media and police and dont read the paper if u are easily offended

listen here this is someone who loved raymond besides that im left to raise his child i am not sayin that he was not wrong but in every situation u have a good and a bad but da choices he made caused his child to be with out a father. but at the same time 16 shots was not the only resort because when raymond was on da ground why did shots continue? yes i could be mean and wish death upon the cop but i do realize he responded to a call of duty so i say unto him personally your life is also held in da hands of greater power , i just hope you under stand. i feel that he was killed due to his race and not to restore your safety, because your safety was restored and you continued to shoot and that's why you did not want your face shown on the news or on television because you know your body will rest in peace also! but GOD can hurt you more than any man and your life is in his hands!

who are you, because this is the mother of his son that will never see his father. but it feels good to see someone showed him love and knew he had nothing but courage! many people don't have the balls to do what he did and would not stand a chance with him in the street. if the hospital did not let him die because he shot the cop he would have damn sure killed him in the streets and God knew it! God sometimes take one life to save many. because he will always be loved and forever missed! they might have taken his life but they could never change his history in the streets!

He died like he lived, a piece of s**t in the gutter. That cop should have shot him 14 more times. I hope he suffered as he lay dieing in the street.
