To many kids running around like stray cats and dogs. Most are fatherless and the ones with mothers are to busy getting their hair and nails done, while waiting on the LINK card re-up. To much dumbass rap music feeding the brain. Every sentence cannot be completed without a curse word or an insult. No one knows their friends by there full name. Just some dumbass street name like "Lil G from up the street." Lets not add the fact these kids don't have a father figure to show them how to where their pants.

Do you think they are growing cocaine in their yard? Or building guns in their garage? No, they ain't. The problem Is bigger then rap music, and saggy pants. Who and where are these drugs and guns coming from? It can't be the "stupid people" waiting to re-up their link card. Think about It dumbass! Hmmmmm...interesting dont hate the player hate the game post. Problem is it doesnt matter who is supplying Lil G from down the street ( whitey if i can take the direction of your post ) it comes down a personal decision to join a gang, deal drugs, rob and kill people. All people have access to the kilos and the AKs; so why is this happening mostly there?

The "Death Penalty" has never made someone think twice about murder. Stiffer penalties won't keep guns out of gang members hands; just your's and mines. Criminals don't care or pay attention to ANY laws. Can you see the picture I'm painting here? More laws regarding guns won't help. What will help is when they allow those who will obey the law, the ability to 'carry and conceal' so we can protect ourselves from 'Lil G'. It's not the police's duty to defend you from harm. It's your duty and RIGHT!

The gangs know we don't have guns.

I use to think just like you! Then I thought to myself, "I grew up in Englewood. Why haven't I killed, gangbanged, sold drugs, or not finish my education?" The answer is my parents wouldn't allow it. It was my own choice to continue and complete my education beyond high school. It was my choice to not have childeren from a "hood rat" that's gonna sit on her ass all day talking gossip with her 'hood rat' friend about all their "baby daddy's" issues. You know they usually have 3 to 5 kids all by different guys and none of them have with a high school diploma.

Its your choice to be an asset to your neighborhood and community, or a liability to it.

I also like the idea of drug testing all those that accept public assistance. true but so many people are scared to say a word to a cop because theyre intimidated by these gangs my daughter's 14 yr old next door neighbor was shot and killed in a car right in front of his aunts after a basketball game he went to with his cousins he leaned over and protected his 2 yr old and 4 yr old cousins he died a hero but it is just so hard for her as well as so may others to understand why? no one will talk to the people trying to solve this heinous murder so another killer is on the streets we need to SPEAK UP AND SHOW THES GANGS WE WILL NOT ALLOW THEM INTO OUR NEIBORHOOD KILLING OUR INNCONET CHILDREN ANYMORE!!!!!!! Take Back our streets!! ALLOW US AS CITIZENS to carry concealed weapons then these gangbangers will not know who is gonna fire back on their azzes!@!

The way I see it is if the community is armed and can defend itself from gangs, then people won't be afraid to speak up. People are afraid because they can't defend themselves. If we take back the streets its gonna have to be in the manner the gangs have taken over the streets...with guns!

"A 60yr old woman who home was envaded in the middle of the night, kills her intruders."

"Father kills gang member threating and harrassing his child outside home."

"Female college student kills convicted rappist well trying to enter her appartment."

I agree with you on the parenting classes; and it should not just be one class but a continuing effort. Early childhood programs would be good also. Education about birth control and STDs would be good. Maybe somebody from a family who was a victim to gang violence can come talk in he schools to let the young people know just how hard it is when this happened to you.

You are so right; but you know, a lot of citizens do have guns despite the 'laws'. You are right; it 's important for self protection.
