Destruction is always cool when it doesn't happen to you personally. And sometimes when it does.

The difference between comedy and tragedy is proximity

You are right here.

FBI Planned to Kill Occupy Leaders
According to journalist David Lindorff, the FBI planned to assassinate
the leaders of the now moribund Occupy movement “via suppressed
sniper rifles.”
Lindorff cites a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the
Washington, DC-based Partnership for Civil Justice Fund.
The redacted document obtained from the FBI in Houston states:
An identified [DELETED] as of October planned to engage in sniper
attacks against protestors (sic) in Houston, Texas if deemed
necessary. An identified [DELETED] had received intelligence that
indicated the protesters in New York and Seattle planned similar
protests in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas.
[DELETED] planned to gather intelligence against the leaders of
the protest groups and obtain photographs, then formulate a plan
to kill the leadership via suppressed sniper rifles.
The FBI confirmed that the document is legitimate.
For the astute student of history – real history, not the massaged
version proffered by the ruling elite – news of an FBI plot to murder
political activists does not come as a surprise.
Recent history provides numerous examples, most notably during the
1960s and 1970s when the FBI’s COINTELPRO was in full swing.

Why suppressed? Even with suppression, a Remington 700 in .308 (the preferred domestic sniper rifle for law enforcement) is a pretty noisy weapon. It certainly wouldn't be clandestine kill as a 2800 ft-pound piece of jacketed lead leaves a pretty messy corpse.

Does the FBI have a plan to blame the deaths on a virus that causes spontaneous head explosions?

Lay off the Alex Jones

If you read the ACTUAL piece by Lindorff, its not the FBI that is planning the assassination.

http://whowhatwhy.com/2013/06/27/fbi-document...

Rather it is being suggested that the FBI ignored the other outside group who was planning this. This is basically the same stuff as the Whitey Bulger hitman gone wild scandal.

Not that it makes it right. But as usual you mangle your facts to make it a conspiracy.

I have known a few - unlike J4J they tend not to be pushy. And they have to be mixed up - they are trying to make sense out of the English. The most interesting variant is a neighbor of mine who doesnt believe in celebrating ANY holidays. Needless to say, we get along fine. Its like living near to an atheist. No tacky Xmas decorations.

A life-sized replica of the Nativity made entirely out of macaroni and bits of tin foil is tacky?!

Are Popsicle sticks still made out of wood? I'll bet Earth First is up in arms about that.

They are recyclable I guess. I bet there are all types of food safety concerns now though. Splinters, dyes, etc...

Why not? Certain members of the population believe in magic bullets.

A man gets put on trial for writing in chalk on the public sidewalk.
A child gets expelled for drawing a picture of a gun.
