What Should Replace Dominick's In Morton Grove?
Last week, news broke that Safeway Corp., the parent of Dominick's Grocery Stores, is closing all the stores in the Chicago area, including the location at 6931 Dempster Street, Morton Grove.

A Kroger (Food 4 Less) would be nice

A LINK store. That way all the chimps and entitlement losers will have to shop there.

If we want some improvement economically in Morton Grove, Trader Joe's would be a good move. Whole foods and Mariano's are building nearby elsewhere. Since Morton Grove missed out on those valuable opportunities, Trader Joe's would be another good option. There are plenty of young people in the area that would take advantage of it.
Kroger or something of the like wouldn't help the village develop.

Haywood Jablowme, CEO of Whole Foods does not believe the subpar income average of Morton Grove residents could sustain an upscale store such as Whole Foods.
