Every person has different motivations for working. The reasons for working are as individual as the person. But, we all work because we obtain something that we need from work. The something we obtain from work impacts our morale and motivation and the quality of our lives.
I worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years. I enjoyed what I did because it was my passion to help other people. I wanted to continue doing what I was doing, but at the same time I wanted something different. I was tired sitting in traffic for 45 minutes trying to get to work only to find myself still struggling trying to make ends meet and living pay check to pay check. A couple of years back, I did a lot of research on things I could do from my home to make extra money. I knew starting my own business was a long shot but at the same time I was thinking about my future and I knew It was time to find that something I could be proud to call my own. I knew I didnít want to sell products. But the cost to do the things that interest me was more than I had. I tried a lot of things and Iíve never seen so many people asking for business but wasnít willing to help build my business.
I didnít want to be buried in more debt than I was already in. But I wanted to be able to spend more time with my boys, be financially stabled and not have to always borrow from Peter to pay Paul. Every year at the start of school, my boys always came home feeling sad because their friends had done something or gone someplace for their summer vacation and they never had stories they could share..
After thoroughly researching different companies I finally found a company that offered that to me, plus benefits for me and my boys. It was hard at first but with the training they had in placed and the motivational team members that was willing to help me I was able to see above water again.
I was afraid of investing money because of all the scammers. But I was able to find a legitimate company I could work from home with, that allows me to be my own boss and work when I want. Iím able to be home with my boys, Iíve been able to make all their games and attend all their school functions without getting a big hassle because I wanted to take off work to attend there events. And weíve been able to start taking vacations. This business has been a blessing to me and my boys and Iím so thankful for it. Iím thankful I took the step to reaching success and not ever have to live paycheck to paycheck anymore. Itís a blessing to be able to get paid daily and also receive a residual income that doubles itself month to month.
Some people work for love; others work for personal fulfillment. Others like to accomplish goals and feel as if they are contributing to something larger than themselves, something important. Some people have personal missions they accomplish through meaningful work. Others truly love what they do or the clients they serve. Some like the interaction with customers and coworkers. Other people like to fill their time with activity. Some workers like change, challenge, and diverse problems to solve. Motivation is individual and diverse.
Whatever your personal reasons for working, the bottom line, however, is that almost everyone works for money. Whatever you call it: compensation, salary, bonuses, benefits or remuneration, money pays the bills. Money provides housing, gives children clothing and food, sends teens to college, and allows leisure activities, and eventually, retirement. To underplay the importance of money and benefits as motivation for people who work is a mistake.
My passion for helping people to do the things they enjoy doing like saving money and making money helps me to generate an amazing income from home. It took some time but I found exactly what I was looking for.
