How about this: They cured the doctor who was fighting the Ebola virus and his recovery looks successful!

That is very good news. I had forgotten about that one, as it only got a short sound bite. The mediciene is still only being tested on animals (with these exceptions) but there should be a lot of it around in a few years if it gets approved and they gear up for mass production.
Oh by the way, I'm now in the lead. I'll cover for you all for a short while, so that you'll can go to the Clubhouse dining room for lunch.

Let's talk about the uses of aloe vera and jojoba--two positive plants that can be grown in arid,
warm climates.

Glad you asked. Jojoba is a desert plant that could be a renewable source of jojoba oil. The growing and harvesting of this plant could be a source of honest income for the growers.

It just will take some creative minds and a vision for that to happen. Very interesting though.

And the nice thing about an aloe vera plant is that it requires very little water to keep growing.
Just a pot with sand and a window that lets it get sunshine are enough to keep an aloe vera
growing.

Heard about aloe, seems to be in a lot of products, mainly skin care I believe. I don't know the other one yet.

What are some of it's uses. Is the oil for face and/or hand care and/or some other uses.

Really glad you asked. For paper cuts or knuckle scrapes, tearing the tip of an aloe leaf will release
the healing gel inside the leaf onto the cut and form a natural bandage with the body's platelets.
Also, there are those who, with their doctor's recommendation, drink some aloe juice to alleviate
stomach or esophagus irritations.

Hungry for lunch. Think I'll add some pearl onions and a little rosemary to some steamed carrots and red potatoes.

I also like ripe garden tomatoes ... But only if kept at room temp. I don't like tomatoes that have been in the fridge.

Parsley and dill are two nice herbs to grow on a window sill, where frost won't destroy them.
